Jeff Jarrett believes former NXT Champion has potential to become AEW World Champion

Jeff Jarrett recently discussed Andrade El Idolo and his potential ceiling in AEW, saying that he thinks the former WWE NXT Champion could become AEW World Champion at some point. Speaking on his My World podcast, Jarrett explained why he sees World Title potential in the former WWE performer:

“Andrade, Friday Night in Arena Mexico…the guy is a flat out machine, he rises to every occasion. I’m curious to see just how far he could take his current momentum and success. Maybe, just maybe, all the way to the top.”

Jarrett would also respond to co-host Conrad Thompson’s direct question about about Andrade potentially becoming a World Champion, saying: “I do [think he could be World Champion]. I think the momentum has organically come on. Timing’s everything, so he’s got to continue and stay the course, there is a real mindset to steady Eddie, so we’ll see.”

Andrade El Idolo will be defending his AEW National Title this weekend at the All Out 2026 PPV event against PAC, who Jarrett also praised during the episode: “PAC is another guy that, you know, coming off the injury, PAC has been on the grind for quite some time.”
