‘The AJ Styles Show’ podcast coming to end after seven months

Posted: Sep 20th 2026 By: Josh Nason

After just seven months, AJ Styles’ participation in a podcast is coming to a close.

Co-host/producer Tony Giles revealed the news on Saturday, writing the following on X:

“Thank you for your support over the last 7 months. I have had a great time producing the show but sadly the show will no longer be active. The old episodes will still be available, however, the channel is going nowhere and will be repurposed shortly.”

After being renamed The Phenomenally Retro Podcast in March and later The AJ Styles Show, the podcast has already been renamed The Loose Cart with a new co-host in John Riggs with an apparent tighter focus on video games with some occasional wrestling talk.

Giles was asked on X if he and and Styles are still friends to which he replied, “Of course!” No specific reason was given for why the show is ending and Styles has not commented on X about the show ending as of this writing.

Styles, who retired at January’s Royal Rumble, is still associated with WWE with his son, Avery, now under TNA contract.
