Good Brothers discuss details of WWE contract offers

A lot of veterans have departed from WWE in recent months. Some, such as Sheamus and the New Level, have said that the promotion gave them a chance to stay if they would accept a pay cut. But apparently, not everyone received a similar offer.

The Good Brothers—Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson—discussed the end of their WWE tenure on the latest edition of their podcast, Talk’n Shop. They said unlike some of their peers, they were never offered a choice about their exit.

“They could have offered us a pay cut,” Gallows said. “I mean, that would have been kind.”

Anderson then asked his partner if they would have taken that deal. “Doesn’t matter,” Gallows replied. “It would have been nice if we had been offered it, though.”

They then questioned whether or not they would have accepted such a deal. At first they said no, but they seemed to change their mind moments later.

“Okay. We would have accepted the pay cut,” Anderson said with a laugh.

“So, I probably would have accepted the pay cut,” Gallows agreed.

The last WWE TV match was a loss to Hank Walker & Tank Ledger on NXT last September. Most of their matches this year have been with Noah in Japan. They have also appeared frequently in Maple Leaf Pro and Major League Wrestling.
