Scarlett Bordeaux on Karrion Kross: ‘He just brings out the best in me’

Dating for several years, Scarlett Bordeaux and Karrion Kross finally tied the knot in 2022 and have been together since. A part of WWE together, the couple’s contracts expired in 2025 and were not extended by the promotion.

Recently appearing on the Nikki & Brie Show, Bordeaux opened up about how Kross brings out the best in her. When Brie Bella asked how long the couple has been a gimmick together, Bordeaux shared a realistic answer.

“Gimmick. I love it. It would be October 2018, I would say. So we met in Impact, and we tried to avoid each other those first six months cuz we were just both like, not the right time.

“You know, it’s like the first time sometimes in your life, like, I’m single. I’m happy. I’m just going to focus on work. I just got this new job. And it was just like that magnetic connection that we just couldn’t deny. I just couldn’t imagine doing it with anyone else. And he just brings out the best in me, you know, and he challenges me and he’s my best friend,”she finished.

After their WWE contract finished in 2025, the duo made their return to MLW, where she continued performing as Kross’ manager as well as her own in-ring career.
