Former TNA wrestler knocks out Jake Hager in Power Slap match

Jake Hager wasn’t lucky the second time around.
The former Jack Swagger lost his second Power Slap fight on Friday to none other than Amanpreet Singh, aka former TNA wrestler Mahabali Shera. Earlier in the fight, Hager staggered Singh with a slap in the first round, bringing him down to a knee. But Singh scored the decisive victory in the third round by knocking out Hager.

Singh most recently wrestled in TNA, with his last match being a loss to PCO at TNA Countdown to Emergence 2024. He had spent most of his career in the company aside from a brief stint in WWE developmental back in 2018. He also spent time in Ohio Valley Wrestling, winning the OVW title back in 2022.
Hager made his Power Slap debut back during WrestleMania 42 weekend, picking up a win. After his AEW departure in 2024, the former WWE World Heavyweight champion said he was ‘largely retired’ and felt jaded about the wrestling industry, sharing pointed words towards Tony Khan. However, Hager did recently wrestle for the WWC in June.
