ROH World Tag title match taped at Arena Mexico to air as part of Global Wars Cincinnati

For the first time in more than three months, the Ring of Honor World Tag Team titles will be defended on ROH programming this week.

Sammy Guevara & The Beast Mortos will defend the titles against Los Villanos, the team of El Hijo del Villano III & Villano III Jr., during ROH’s airing of Global Wars Cincinnati on Thursday at WatchROH.com.

While most of the matches scheduled for Global Wars Cincinnati took place in Cincinnati, the ROH Tag Team title match between Guevara & Mortos and Los Villanos took place at Friday’s CMLL Viernes Espectacular show at Arena México in Mexico City.

The ROH Tag Team titles haven’t been defended on ROH programming lately due to visa issues preventing Mortos from wrestling in the United States. Mortos hasn’t wrestled in the United States since an episode of AEW Collision on March 18.
