Jim Ross returns to broadcast booth Saturday Night

Jim Ross will be the one doing play-by-play for Saturday Night?s Main Event on March 18th. Ross, who was fired on the October 10th edition of RAW, will make his first WWE appearance in five months.
Ross was fired by Linda McMahon on an edition of RAW back in November. There was a match announced for Taboo Tuesday between Steve Austin and Johnathon Coachman which, if Austin had won, would have given J. R. back his job, but Austin was injured in a car accident and was unable to participate in that match.
Vince McMahon announced J. R.?s rehiring last night on RAW, declaring that he had brought him back specifically to call the Streetfight between Shawn Michaels and Shane McMahon. Shane poked some fun at J R.?s commentary style, then declared that if he didn?t call the match correctly, Shane would beat him up like he had beaten up Michaels earlier that night. This provoked a worried look from Vince, but nothing more was said about the situation.
It will be interesting to see if J. R. is going to be included in the WrestleMania plans for this year.
