Aaron Neil Holds The Key To One Man's Future

Aaron Neil Holds The Key To One Man's Future

Posted: Feb 22nd 2008 By: CMBurnham

It was the question on MSWA fan's minds for almost 3 weeks: What was going to be the stipulation to resolve the conflict between Bad Boy and MSWA Oklahoma Champion Outlaw? MSWA commissioner Halo had promised an announcement and the fans wree waiting anxiously to hear what that would be. They didn't have to wait too long and the announcement signaled the return of a former MSWA mainstay who could now be the deciding factor in on star's future.

Oklafan.com posted a poll with suggestions on what the fans thought might be Halo's resolution. 37% believed that Halo would force the former MSWA Mid-South Tag Team Champions to team again in the Lethal Lotto Tournament. But that event wasn't even mentioned when Halo came out to announce his decision to the crowd.

Halo entered the ring and recapped the feud between these two men, then began to make his announcement, but before he could reveal the stipulation, Outlaw's music hit and the Texas veteran made his way to the ring, beligerant as always. He grabbed the mic and began to make the standard boasts that have come from him for the past few months: he carried Bad Boy during their championship reign. He fought, bled and sweat while they were champions and Bad Boy did nothing. He even mentioned helping Bad Boy in their fight against IZW last summer. Outlaw demanded a match against his former partner on the show. This brought Bad Boy out and he quickly promised an Oklahoma ass-whipping to Outlaw. As things heated up between the two enemies, Halo stepped in and said there would be a match between them, but it would not be for another 2 weeks. And this match would have 3 special stipulations in it. First of all, to finally resolve the feud between the men, this would be a Loser Leaves MSWA match. Secondly, Outlaw's Oklahoma Title would be on the line. And finally, due to the FACT that 5 seperate MSWA referees had refused to officiate any more matches between these men, due to their actions in the past, Halo went out and found a man who he believes can handle the situation without letting it get out of control. This man has past history with both Outlaw and Bad Boy, so there's no bias involved. This man is....AARON NEIL!!

The announcement of the former MSWA mainstay and 2-time IZW Champion brought the crowd to a new level of excitement and "The Real Deal" came out to the ring. Immediately both combatants in the match started to protest. Bad Boy was upset because Neil, while Oklahoma Champion, had been one of the leaders in the attempted invasion of MSWA by IZW. Neil had even gone so far as to leave MSWA while still holding that belt, forcing Bad Boy to strip it from him and hold the tournament that allowed Outlaw to win it. Neil also had a storied history with Outlaw. He said he chased Outlaw for 5 years to try and gain the MSWA Mid-South Title during the times Outlaw was champion, but Outlaw never gave him a shot. Their feud reached a new level of intensity last year when Neil temporarily blinded Outlaw, leading to the blindfold match between the two men. Outlaw won that match, but Neil would go on 2 weeks later to defeat Outlaw and Tyler Bateman for the Oklahoma title.

Neil said he would not choose sides in this battle, but did warn them both that, whoever survived, he would be coming after them to reclaim the Oklahoma title. Outlaw said they were both alike. Bad Boy claimed that Aaron turned his back on MSWA. No one involved seemed happy with this deal, but the fans couldn't wait.

And they almost didn't have to wait as Outlaw came out to sit at ringside during the match between Bad Boy and Se7en. While he simply sat and observed during the majority of the match, he did get up to interfere towards the end, which brought out Aaron Neil. Neil then ordered Outlaw to the back while the match continued. Ultimately, Jason Kirby came out and interfered in the match, causing a DQ win for Bad Boy. While Se7en chased Kirby to the back, Bad Boy grabbed the microphone and said they didn't have to wait 2 weeks. This was all Outlaw needed to hear and he stormed the ring to begin battering his former partner. Ringside security attempted to break up the brawl, but they were thrown out of the ring by the wrestlers who continued to go at each other. Outlaw finally got the upper hand by taking his branding iron and nailing Bad Boy in the head with it. He told Bad Boy he could have his match in 2 weeks, but he should pack his bags because he will be gone.

Can even Aaron Neil control the overwhelming hatred between these 2 men? He only has to keep things under control for 1 match, but the consequences of the match will be devestating for one of the combatants. Outlaw prides himself on being the final survivor of the PZWA era. Bad Boy owns the company. Whatever happens, on March 2, an era of wrestling in Oklahoma will be over.
