The people have spoken, & the results are in for the 2025 NWA Year End Awards! Voted on by fans on the NWA X Account, the NWA faithful determined which superstars’ names were etched in National Wrestling Alliance history.
It's Mondo Time!
Arriving in the National Wrestling Alliance in 2024 offered Mike Mondo an opportunity for reinvention.
The globally-known star leveraged 2025 to its fullest, showing the world an all-new side. Whether the physical transformation or his change in attitude, Mondo made the most of the past 12 months.
Partnered with rising star Slade, and managed by Aron Stephens, Mondo made an impressive splash in NWA’s tag division. His greatest success, though, came at NWA 77.
In the biggest victory of his solo career, Mondo defeated “Big Strong” Mims to capture the NWA National Heavyweight Title. Now as the 2025 “Breakthrough Star of the Year,” he’s determined 2026 will prove “It’s My Time! It’s Mondo Time! It’s Gut Check Time!”
