WWE confirms World Tag Team title match for Raw

WWE has confirmed Dragon Lee and AJ Styles will defend their titles on Raw.

In a match that was set up on Raw last week, Lee and Styles vs. New Day’s Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston is now official for the show.

WWE wrote:

“TOMORROW night on #WWERaw,
@dragonlee95 & @AJStylesOrg put the World Tag Team Championship on the line against The New Day!

In a backstage segment on last week’s show, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce informed New Day that Styles and Lee wanted to be fighting champions and that they would be defending the titles against them the following Monday.

On WWE SmackDown this week, it was seemingly confirmed on commentary that the semifinals of The Last Time Is Now Tournament will take place on Raw this Monday as well. However, neither match has received an official announcement from WWE.

Monday’s show takes place from the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. 7,144 had been distributed to the show as of the most recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
