NEWS
TNA Wrestling announced that the company set its new North American attendance record of 7,794 fans at the 2025 “Bound For Glory” pay-per-view event in Lowell, MA. Moose wrote the following post via X in response to people that were skeptical of the number: “For the people saying half of our record setting attendance record was free tickets given are brain dead and fail to realize in 2016/17 myself The Hardy’s Eddie Cody Rhodes Drew McIntyre Lashley wrestled at Universal in front of only 150 people were every single ticket were free because universal didn’t allow ticket sales. I could understand 200/300 comped tickets for sponsors and media purposes and friends and family but 3k. No business will take an outstanding loss just to fill up an arena. if it was that easy every company would do it and we would have done it a decade ago when we struggling to get 500 people to attend a show. Just enjoy the growth and the win. we wouldn’t be in their position without you guys our true fans.THIS IS TNA.”

Moose also took to social media to respond to Ridge Holland announcing his WWE contract won’t be renewed: “Sorry to hear Ridge ….. speedy recovery hopefully you make it back to TNA. You’re one of the good ones.”

“The Last Time Is Now” for John Cena. But “The Last Time Is 2026” for “The Phenomenal” A. J. Styles. It appears WWE is already planning ahead for the eventual retirement of one of its most accomplished stars. According to Dave Meltzer on a the latest episode of “Wrestling Observer Radio” at [http://www.F4WOnline.com]F4WOnline.com[/url], WWE has begun internal preparations for the retirement of A. J. Styles, with the belief that “The Phenomenal One” will hang up his boots in 2026. Meltzer noted that conversations have already started within the company about how to properly handle what is expected to be Styles’ farewell run. “There is a plan in play for how to handle A. J. Styles’ retirement in 2026,” Meltzer revealed. While the creative details are still being finalized, WWE reportedly intends to give Styles a significant send-off befitting his legendary career, not a quiet exit from television. “It’s not fully locked in or anything, but the idea is, ‘We’re gonna do something’” Meltzer added. Meltzer emphasized that, internally, WWE expects 2026 to mark the end of Styles’ in-ring career, pointing to his own previous remarks about winding things down. “So yeah, they believe he’s retiring next year,” Meltzer said.

Barry Darsow (AKA Smash of Demolition) has released his memoir “Sickles, Studs & Stolen Cars: The Many Faces of Barry Darsow” which is available on Amazon.
