Sting made a surprise appearance on Friday during the “AEW Collision” tapings at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA. Following the tapings, AEW held a tribute to Eddie Gilbert, with AEW President Tony Khan, Jeff Jarrett, Eddie’s brother Doug Gilbert, Tommy Rich, and Sting appearing. Eddie, who died in February 1995, was the original booker for Eastern Championship Wrestling, which later became Extreme Championship Wrestling when Tod Gordon hired Paul Heyman to replace him after he fired Gilbert. Sting, then known as Blade Runner Sting, worked with Gilbert in the UWF where he formed part of Gilbert’s and Missy Hyatt’s Hyatt & Hot Stuff International faction which also included John Tatum, Rick Steiner, and The Ultimate Warrior, then known as Blade Runner Rock,.

WWE Vault also uploaded the full “WrestleFest” event from 1997 that was headlined by (what was supposed to be) Terry Funk’s retirement match against Bret Hart.
According to reports, the newly implemented creative team for WWE’s newly acquired Lucha Libre AAA World Wide is led by Paul Levesque (Triple H). Levesque will be primarily supported by Jeremy Borash, Mark Calaway (The Undertaker), Charles Ashenoff (Konnan), and Dorian Roldan, who co-owned AAA from 2006 until the company was sold to WWE’s parent company TKO Holdings. The key producers will be Matt Bloom, Pete Dunne, Chavo Guerrero, Jr., Jack Melendez (Moody Jack), Juan Rivera (Savio Vega), Jose Cordero (Lince Dorado), and one other individual yet to be named. While Shawn Michaels provides some input to Levesque, it has been noted that he is not deeply involved due to his significant commitment to NXT, even though he has attended various shows.
WWE star Grayson Waller recalls nearly getting into a bar fight after “WrestleMania” last year when Shayna Baszler, MVP, and Josh Barnett stepped in to back him up: "’WrestleMania 40’, after I won the Tag Team Championships, we go back to the hotel bar, and sometimes when ‘WrestleMania’ stuff happens, the fans know what hotel we're at. So we're trying to have a good time and chill, and all these fat flops in black shirts who stink are just like roaming around trying to grab you and all this. It's the worst, it's very frustrating. So there was a guy who kept trying to grab and touch and talk to some of the NXT girls, and they were telling me, 'This guy's bothering us’, so I went up to the bar to talk to him and I was like, 'Hey, can you leave the girls alone, they're trying to have a good night.' And this guy was very drunk, he starts firing back at me, he goes to push me, and I'm like, 'I just won the Tag Team Championships and I'm gonna get in a fight at the bar at ‘WrestleMania’, this is gonna be the story’ All of a sudden, first person that walks up next to me, Shayna Baszler. She's like, 'Is everything all good here?' Then as she's talking to me, MVP walks up next. Now I'm feeling pretty good, you know? Then, Josh Barnett, who I must admit, I've never met Josh Barnett, like I know of him, I know he's a badass. He steps up next and goes, 'Is everything alright here guys?' I sat down. I sat down at the bar and I just looked at the guy like, 'Hey, I'm good, Shayna Baszler, MVP, and Josh Barnett have my back - there isn't a man alive who I think can mess with this team of four.' So I almost had like my own super team at the bar at ‘WrestleMania’, and that guy, he disappeared real quickly, which was nice. So I think I actually had a real-life team of four WarGames bar team."

Valhalla, whose last WWE appearance was on the February 19, 2024 episode of “WWE Monday Night RAW” before going on maternity leave, and did not have her contract renewed late last year, has recently been moved to the Alumni section of the company’s website. WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter told “Sportskeeda WrestleBinge” that he thinks Logan Paul has the potential to be the biggest babyface in wrestling history if he turns in the future and it’s done the right way: “I don’t think he has too many weaknesses. He still rushes things a little bit. I would love to be there, but I know he’s got plenty of pros that are telling him what to do or how to do it. But he’s a natural… he’s at home. It takes a lot and a long time to make that ring your second home. So when you walk in there and become that character, it’s night and day. If he continues, I don’t know how long he’s going to continue, but John Cena is leaving, he’s probably going to be hanging up the boots. You got The Rock who makes appearances back and forth, but there’s no real superstar right now. Once [Paul] establishes himself as the biggest villain, he’ll be the biggest hero of all time. I think he’ll surpass every hero we’ve ever had in this business.”
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley, known as “The Hardcore Legend,” provided a positive update on his physical health during an interview with the “Kayfabe Friends Wrestling Podcast” at the 2025 Cauliflower Alley Club Reunion. At 60, Foley revealed he’s walking better than he did 15 years ago, crediting hip and knee replacements and a significant 99-pound weight loss, though he regained some weight. “I’m sore, but not as sore as I thought I’d be,” Foley said, noting he occasionally overtakes people at airports. Despite a minor concussion and soft tissue injuries from an April 2025 car accident, Foley feels fortunate to be mobile. He scrapped plans for a final deathmatch last year after a concussion during training, prioritizing his health. Honored with the “Iron” Mike Mazurki Award, Foley expressed gratitude for his career and fan support, emphasizing his desire to give back to the wrestling community through organizations like the Cauliflower Alley Club.
