AJ Styles brings up names from his past in WWE Raw promo

AJ Styles brought up names from the past in his WWE Raw promo.
Ahead of squaring off against El Grande Americano, Styles talked about how for the first time his career, he has no one to back him up. He said that Gallows and Anderson were gone, and Michin is on SmackDown. He felt that someone orchestrated all of this to prevent him from having help. Styles concluded that someone doesn’t want him there, and he was going to beat El Grande Americano so that person could feel a bit of his pain.
Despite interference from other masked luchadores, Styles scored the win over Americano thanks to help from Dragon Lee, who later in a backstage promo said he had Styles’ back.
Styles brought up Anderson & Gallows’ names, as well as Omos, in a post-match promo that took place following last week’s Raw, saying he missed having allies like them.
Anderson and Gallows returned to WWE in 2022 and together they and Michin reformed The OC. However, their association with Styles eventually ended and they were released from their contracts in February of this year. Michin continues to wrestle on SmackDown, proving unsuccessful against Giulia on last week’s show in a United States title match.
