The 2025 Oklafan Mid-Year Report

The 2025 Oklafan Mid-Year Report

Posted: Jul 17th 2025 By: Oklafan Staff

2025 is over halfway done and we at Oklafan.com are pleased to release The Mid-Year Report. In this report, we'll look at the top 20 wrestlers of 2024 (as listed in the Oklafan Top 50) and see where they stand today, what they've accomplished and where they might be going. With a little less than 6 months left before the end of the year, some performers might need that extra motivation to kick things into gear. So, without further ado, let's get to it:

1. Dan Webber. Currently holding the ASP 5-Star Title and the LCW Title (Though that is defended more often in Arkansas than Oklahoma), Webber has had 18 matches so far this year, with a record of 10-8. He's competed in 7 different companies and is a member of HIM. Webber's attitude seems to be variable. Some places he is loved, others he is hated. It can be said he is successful, but for someone who has been ranked the best in the state twice, he needs to be a little more present if he expects to get there again.
Current ranking: #2

2. Trench Blythe. Currently 1/2 of the UWE Tag Team Titles. Presumably still 1/2 of the CPW Tag Team Champions (if the rumours are true and they will be starting back up in the fall). Trench has competed in 18 matches, with an even record of 9-9. Trench has limited his competition to 5 different companies this year and most of those matches have been tag team matches, but the partnership with Badger James may be on rocky ground after events that took place at the last EPW event. Trench's lack of singles focus will knock him out of the top 10, but he still has time to reassert himself before the end of the year.
Current ranking: #11

3. Brandon Warhawk: Warhawk competed in 14 matches this year. Unfortunately, an injury in June took him off the active roster. Hopefully for his sake, he can return soon. His win-loss record is only 6-8, so that certainly needs to improve to get him back in the Top 10. He also has limited himself to 5 companies in the state and might consider broadening his horizons upon his return.
Current ranking: #19

4. Badger James: The other half of the UWE Tag Team Champions (and presumably CPW Tag Team Champions) has really scaled back his in-ring time for the first half of 2025. He's only competed in 12 matches, but has an impressive 8-4 record. Again, much of that is in tag team action with Trench Blythe, but the future of of that partnership seems highly questionable. Badger has only seen action in 4 companies in Oklahoma, though he seems to have been more willing to handle singles competition than his partner was. We just need to see more of him in the Oklahoma rings.
Current ranking: #18

5. Billie the Kiid: Billie won his first heavyweight title, the ASP Championship, recently and has been making quite the name for himself in southern Oklahoma, specifically in TexPro. That's just 1 of 5 companies that he has competed for this year, where he also has put together a record of 8 - 4. But having singles gold is a bigger achievement than having tag team gold, so right now, Billie ranks just slightly ahead of Badger. He's another one who will hopefully step things up before the end of the year to get where he was last year.
Current ranking: #16.

#6. Marlboro Slim: Slim was injured in a match at WAH last year and only returned to the ring a couple of months ago. Currently, he has confined his appearances to UWE and has been victorious in both of the matches he's participated in. It's uncertain whether he will be able to compete enough to qualify for this year's Top 50 rankings, but that's not the important thing. The important thing is that he is back on his feet and making his way safely back to in-ring competition.
Current ranking: Unranked

#7: Eddie LeVaughn: Currently the WAH Champion. Absolutely one of the most active competitors in Oklahoma, with 20 matches under his belt this year and a record of 12-8. Eddie is aiming high to prove that he is the best competitor in the state and he certainly has no problem letting everyone know his feelings about himself. His attitude change at WAH may have brought him more gold and some affiliates, but it has driven away the massive fan support he had. Nonetheless, it's hard to argue with success and Eddie has found that in the 6 different companies he has competed for this year.
Current ranking: #3

#8: Cappuccino Jones: I think we all know where Cappuccino has been for most of this year. It's great to see that he has been able to make his way back to Oklahoma on 3 occassions and put together an undefeated record in TIW and UWE. Obviously Capp won't be making the list currently, but he has more important things to do and we certainly wish him well as he shows up on EVOLVE (and maybe elsewhere) in the near future.
Current ranking: Unranked

#9: Tommy Dean. The current TIW No Pressure Champion has seemingly gone awol. He's only had 6 matches this year and the record isn't very impressive at 2-4. Even holding a title doesn't help a lot with that. Dean recently posted on his social media that he will be confining his competition to a few very specific companies while he focuses on some other personal issues. Hopefully, whatever Tommy is working his way through can be dealt with so he can get back in that top 10 like he has been for so long.
Current ranking: Unranked

#10: Drake Gallows/Spawn Johnson: Currently 1/2 of the ASP Tag Team Champions and the only active member of the RDW Tag Team Champions, on paper it would seem like Gallows was a tag team guy. But with his RDW Tag Team Title partner, Mr. Nabors, currently taking time away from the business, Gallows has chosen to defend the belt alone in a series of handicap matches. The fact that he has a 12-8 record across 6 different companies simply reenforces what he has all the time: "Drake Goes Over!" And when necessary, he breaks out the mask and Spawn Johnson takes the ring, presenting an even more bizarre and sadistic side of Drake's personality. Some feel like Drake is taking more time to be a tutor, trainer and to focus on the creation of content for his company's YouTube channel. But the stats speak for themselves and Drake has happily found success, be it in singles or tag team competition.
Current ranking: #8

#11: The Canadian Red Devil. The only man to appear in EVERY Oklafan Top 50. But that status may finally come to an end this year. CRD has held 2 tag team titles this year alongside The Lunchador, but has only competed in 10 matches and has a fairly unimpressive 2-8 record across 5 companies. Time catches up to everyone and this may be the last hurrah by Your Anti-Hero, but he is also known to take time off in the summer to recharge and has posted on social media 4 appearances across through September, so hopefully he can turn this around and continue his streak.
Current ranking: Unranked

#12: Derek James. Derek James has reduced himself to a part-time competitor recently, focusing on his college studies. He's only competed in 10 matches across 3 companies and has a record of 3-7. Currently, he is engaged in a feud in WFC with his former partner Cade Fite and he hopes to be able to move on from that back into title contention. James needs to pick things up if he intends to make it back into the Top 50 anywhere near where he was last year.
Current ranking: Unranked

#13: Floyd Maystorm: No one has wrestled more matches in Oklahoma than Floyd Maystorm (though one man has wrestled the SAME number). The current record-holding 10-time WAH Hunger Dojo Champion has competed in 26 matches across 7 federations with a record of 15-11, making him a true face of wrestling in Oklahoma. Besides being a fighting Hunger Dojo Champion, Maystorm, alongside Dan Webber, are top contenders to the UWE Tag Team Titles and has been making inroads into the Oklahoma City area federations as well. It's going to take some serious effort for other competitors to catch up to what Maystorm has currently accomplished.
Current ranking: #1

#14: Father Padge. One-Half of the current BCW Tag Team Champions and technically both the MajCW Champion and the MajCW 24/7 On Call Champion (though that company is currently on hiatus), Padge is never someone who finds himself far removed from championship gold at any time. No other wrestler has held as many different titles this year than he has. Padge is also dominant in the ring, competing in 18 matches across 5 companies with a record of 16-2. Surrounded by his compatriots in God's Work, Padge has proven himself to an undeniable force in the Oklahoma City area. If he were to branch out to areas beyond OKC, his ranking could be even higher.
Current ranking: #6

#15: Tim Rockwell. "The Constant" recently regained the WFC Title to begin his 6th reign. That's impressive. He also helped put on one of the biggest shows in Oklahoma this year, drawing over 500 fans. That's impressive. But what Tim HASN'T done much of this year is actually wrestle. Only 5 matches, with a record 3-2. And only 2 companies. The only time Tim hasn't been ranked in the Top 50 was in 2016, but unless he decides to increase his in-ring presence, 2025 may be a repeat of that year.
Current ranking: Unranked

#16. Mr. Nasty. "The Creole Soul" (or sometimes "The Creole Pimp") is another one who has really turned down the frequency of his appearances in Oklahoma, He's only competed in 5 matches, across 3 federations, with a record of 3-2. He seems to have spent as much time in Arkansas as he has Oklahoma, but out-of-state appearances don't help in-state rankings. Nasty needs to come back and focus on the street corners of THIS state if he expects to be on this list again.
Current ranking: Unranked

#17: Colton Kinnamon. The "Warhammer" has continued to impress in the Oklahoma City area, holding the ASP Tag Team Titles with Drake Gallows and competing in 14 matches, with a record of 8-5-1 across 5 companies. What Kinnamon seems to lack at the moment is a sense of direction. On several occasions, he has challenged for the RDW Iron Man Title, but came up short. He was the first UWO Dojo Division Champion, but hasn't seemed to come anywhere close to that title again recently. Kinnamon has proven himself to be a powerful force and maybe needs to branch out to other areas to really test his waters.
Current ranking: #9

#18: Seth Daniels: Daniels appears to be a great example of what happens to you when you take advice from the wrong people. For most of the first half of 2025, Daniels was under the tutelage of Tony Snow in UWE. But Snow was fired from the company (or quit, depending on which story you hear) and Daniels was let loose. Before that firing, though, Snow's guidance provided no success for Daniels. And that mentality of loss spread to the other companies Daniels competed in. He's had 9 matches this year across 4 companies, but only picked up ONE win. Daniels seemed like someone who had a promising future and hopefully he can recapture that in the second half of the year.
Current ranking: Unranked

#19: Anarchy [2nd]. The leader of the Black Flag Brigade seems to have sailed back to his home port to stay there. He seemed to be leading the Brigade into the Oklahoma City area, but after some issues behind-the-scenes, Anarchy was removed from the roster and the only place left for him back at UWE, where he currently holds the Apex Title. He has only competed in 6 matches this year and it seems highly unlikely, unless he decides to try to make his way back into other companies, that he will make the list this year.
Current ranking: Unranked

#20: The Original Renegade. Renegade seems to have found rejuvenation in NAW. He held the NAW Title until this past weekend. He's happy to get in the ring and beat people up like he did back in the 1990s. He's spending as much time out in Arkansas as he is in Oklahoma in the rings. But still, he's limiting himself to one company in this state and has only competed in 6 matches, with a record of 5-1. The "Glory Days" may be well behind Renegade, but he seems happy to do what he is doing now, even if that won't bring him back to this list.
Current ranking: #40
