The Scoop

Posted: Jun 14th 2025 By: Compiled by Oklafan Staff

NEWS
The June 2nd “WWE Monday Night RAW” on Netflix, the “go-home” edition for “Money in the Bank”, which emanated from the BOK Center in Tulsa, was up from the previous week’s record-low with Netflix claiming 5.0 million viewer hours and 2.7 million global views.

Karrion Kross was a recent guest on “The Battleground Podcast”, which you can watch by clicking here.

Among the latest signees to the WWE NIL program are potential 2nd generation stars Brock Rechsteiner, son of Scott Steiner, T. J. Bullard, son of Titus O’Neil, and Jacob Henry, son of Mark Henry. It is worth noting that Jacob Henry attends college and wrestles collegiately at the University of Oklahoma. He also walked-on for the football team, hoping to add to the Sooners defensive line. Also among the signees was Kerrigan Huynh, a Track & Field athlete from the University of Central Oklahoma, who also graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 2022.

Cauliflower Alley Club announced that Natalya will receive the Lou Thesz Award at its 2025 Reunion, set to take place August 18-20 in Las Vegas, NV. She becomes the first female professional wrestler to receive the honor. She is the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Jim Neidhart.

Jamie Horowitz, who was a major executive hired by Nick Khan at WWE, but was let go in the WWE/TKO merger, co-owns the Omaha Productions media company with former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning. The company debuted a new show called “Rabil’s Places” on ESPN+ which debuted this past Wednesday. The show is about lacrosse and Mick Foley appears on the June 25th episode. Foley was a high school lacrosse player, playing goaltender.

Dustin Rhodes remembered his late father Dusty Rhodes on the 10th anniversary of his passing on June 12th with a post on X: “The greatest man in the world. We miss you Pop!!!”

Lance Archer posted on Facebook that he officiated the wedding of his sister on June 8th.

Jeff Jarrett made waves on his “My World” podcast, predicting that TKO Group Holdings will sell WWE once it ceases to deliver high returns on investment. Backing recent comments by Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, who claimed WWE is now “just TKO”, Jarrett criticized the company’s profit-driven shift under TKO’s management. “Vince McMahon made decisions for wrestling fans; TKO serves private equity,” Jarrett said, emphasizing that when returns falter, TKO will “sell the asset”. The wrestling veteran’s bold claim, reported by WrestleZone and Fightful, follows Vince McMahon’s $250 million TKO share sale to Endeavor. Fans on X, echoed Jarrett’s sentiment, speculating on potential buyers like Saudi Arabia’s PIF. As WWE thrives with record revenue, Jarrett’s warning suggests a future sale could reshape the wrestling landscape.

Appearing as a guest on “Insight with Chris Van Vliet”, former TNA star James Storm was asked to name his Mount Rushmore of TNA Wrestling. He said “Jeff Jarrett. A. J. Styles, of course. People can say, and this is just me talking. I hate to put myself on there, but as the tag team, because I always look at Mount Rushmore as like, there should be people from different parts of the company, not just like all singles wrestlers. I look at me as like, I helped carry the tag team division in TNA, especially during the startup years and everything. I’d put Jeff Hardy on there, because he came in very early. A lot of people say Kurt (Angle), but I’m looking at guys who helped build the company before the Kurts, and Samoa Joe, and all these other guys were in there”.

Actress Julia Reilly, who portrayed Claire Lynch in a TNA storyline was found dead in her apartment earlier this year, but the news was just made public. Reilly’s body was discovered in her home in Orlando, FL two months ago after she failed to appear at a scheduled event. It has been indicated that she died of natural causes. For those unfamiliar with the Claire Lynch storyline, it took place in TNA back in 2012 when Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian accused A, J. Styles of having an affair with a woman who was pregnant with his child.

Derek Rhodes underwent back surgery on June 11th. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery.
