Brent Albright rises to the top once again

Brent Albright won the Ohio Valley Wrestling Title in what was described as "a really dramatic match" with CM Punk.
About 15 minutes into the match, Punk took a very bad bump of the top rope and was stretchered out. Albright then grabbed the leather strap that has been the central point of their rivalry the last several weeks and attacked Punk while he was on the stretcher.
Punk ended up back in the ring, and fought on one leg, with the crowd getting behind his comeback. He got the strap and began whipping Albright, but Albright kicked out Punk's leg and put Punk in an STF. Punk passed out and Albright was declared the new champion.
This begins Brent's second OVW title reign. His last reign began on April 30, 2005 when he defeated Matt Morgan. He would hold that title for a little over 3 months before losing it to current Spirit Squad member Johnny Jeter on August 3.
Albright is still the only Triple Crown winner in OVW history, being the first OVW TV Champion and holding the Southern Tag Team Title with current RAW superstar Chris Masters.
