A pair of former Tag Team Champions have admitted they might never get into the Hall of Fame

On February 13 it was announced that Bill Eadie & Barry Darsow, better known to fans as Ax and Smash of Demolition, had signed WWE Legends contracts.
There had been a feeling that Eadie and Darsow would never come back under the WWE umbrella after a legal battle with the company in 1997 over name and gimmick rights. In 2016, the duo was involved in a concussion-related class-action lawsuit against WWE.
The news deals sparked speculation that the pair could be heading for the Hall of Fame, however, it seems that the situation might not be quite that straightforward.
During an interview with Ten Count Wrestling, Darsow admitted that despite calls from fans, an induction might never happen.
“The fans are asking, ‘When are you going to get into the Hall of Fame?’ Who knows? We may never, ever, because there are so many tag teams out there.”
Eadie later added that while it would be a nice honor to receive, they won’t be losing any sleep if an induction never comes their way.
“We have no control over it. If we get in, great. If we don’t get in, we’re not going to lose sleep over it. So, that’s where we stand.“
Back in February, it was reported that Demolition were being discussed for the WWE Hall of Fame off the back of confirming their Legends deals. However, it was claimed nothing was “nailed down,” as discussions were ongoing.
Since then, Fred Ottman, better known to fans as Typhoon, has claimed that he and Earthquake will be inducted as part of the class of 2025. Despite this, there’s been no official comment from the company on the Natural Disasters.
Another name reportedly under consideration is Kamala. James Arthur Harris wrestled for more than 30 years for many of the biggest promotions in North America, including the WWF, WCW, Mid-South Wrestling, and the Continental Wrestling Association.
