Ethan Page names Nic Nemeth as TNA dream opponent
Posted: Mar 12th 2025 By: Joseph Currier
Ethan Page would like to finally cross paths with Nic Nemeth now that the match is a possibility with NXT & TNA’s working relationship.
In an interview with Sports Illustrated ahead of tonight’s NXT Roadblock event, Page named the former Dolph Ziggler as his dream opponent from TNA. They’ve never been in the same promotion at the same time before, but Page would love to see the matchup happen.
“Nick Nemeth and I have never crossed paths,” Page said. “I was a TNA Impact guy while he was a WWE guy and at one time an NXT guy. Now, the roles have reversed. I’m the NXT guy and he is Mr. TNA. So that, to me, is a big match that I would love to see happen. So, if we could, I would. There you go.”
Nemeth has not competed in a WWE ring since being released by the company in 2023, though he and his brother Ryan Nemeth did unsuccessfully challenge Nathan Frazer & Axiom for the NXT Tag Team titles on a recent episode of TNA Impact.
A former NXT Champion, Nemeth has had one World title reign since joining TNA, holding the TNA World Championship from July 2024 to January 2025.
Tonight’s special Roadblock episode of NXT is taking place from The Theater at Madison Square Garden and includes a New York City street fight between Page and Je’Von Evans. TNA will be featured on the card with The Hardys defending their TNA Tag Team titles against Frazer & Axiom. Plus, TNA star Moose is challenging Oba Femi for the NXT Championship.
