NEWS
During “The Pat McAfee Show” on Monday, which had Jey Uso as one of the guests, Michael Cole recounted the story of how he went back to the hotel after the “Royal Rumble” and Rikishi was there hosting a watch party being all emotional. Cole said "Your dad had no idea what was going on and he walked out and he had these tears in his eyes and gave me a massive hug. He had no words for it, he's so incredibly proud of you and as you know, he has been one of your biggest supporters through all of this, in all the ups and downs in your career." Cole said that it was an incredible moment for him to see that emotion coming out from the Hall of Famer. Jey added that his father called him when he went back to the locker room and he did a FaceTime where he was joined by John Cena, C. M. Punk, and his brothers. "My dad knows everything in the business, man, so I'm not gonna tell him everything, I'm gonna surprise him too, Uce," Jey said.

Recent WWE Vault additions include Scott Steiner vs. Triple H from “No Way Out 2003”, and several dark matches, including Steve “Dr. Death” Williams vs. Scorpio, among others.

“No-Contest Wrestling” put out a new episode featuring conversations with Roman Reigns & Paul Heyman, L. A. Knight, Bayley, The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods), and Carlito from “Royal Rumble” weekend. Click here to watch the episode.

Oklafan extends condolences to Tommy D on the passing of his father-in-law this past week.

Oklafan extends condolences to the family and friends of Buster Cherry, sometimes known as Big Ern, who passed away in an automobile accident on February 6, 2025. He was 43 years old. Cherry, whose real name was Earnest Harrell, began competing in the Oklahoma City area for SWCW in 2013, losing his first match to Kevin James Sanchez. He was part of the tournament to crown the King of Underground for XUW in November 2013, making to the finals where he and Kareem Sadat battled to a Double Countout. Cherry formed a strong partnership with Brandon Barricade as his manager and on April 12, 2014, he captured his first title, the SWCW All-American Championship, by defeating Mr. Barnes. Buster also made his way into MSWA, initially facing Spike in a series of matches. He lost the SWCW All-American Title to Havoc on June, 7, 2014, but just 2 weeks later, after winning a Battle Royal, Cherry challenged Havoc for a rematch and regained the belt. By the end of 2014, Cherry had joined The Saints of Pro Wrestling faction in MSWA and would be involved in a memorable attempt by their leader, The Roc-N-Roll Cowboy, to take over MSWA. Cherry faced off against Dominator in a series of matches, culminating in a North Pole Knockout Match which neither man could win. Cherry would be the first member of The Saints of Pro Wrestling faction to leave after an incident where the Saints kidnapped MSWA commissioner C. M. Burnham. Cherry felt this crossed the line and soon found himself on the opposite side of the ring against many of his former teammates. But he also found gold, as on July 17, 2015, he beat Mascara La Parka for the MSWA Oklahoma Title. Cherry then formed his own faction alongside former rival Mr. Barnes and Dean Lambert. Together, they were known as The Creepsters (or in some companies, The Redneck Creepsters). Cherry would team with Barnes to beat The Saints of Pro Wrestling, The Mid-South Express, and Simply the Future for the vacant MSWA Mid-South Tag Team Titles, but on the same night, he lost the MSWA Oklahoma Title to long-time rival Vinny Pacheco. the end of 2015 saw Cherry add more gold to his collection, capturing the BCW/EmpCW Independent Hardcore Title to his collection after defeating Kareem Sadat for it in a Triple Threat Match alongside Rick Garrett. Being a dual champion didn't last long as The Creepsters lost the MSWA Mid-South Tag Team Titles to The Mid-South Express on January 15, 2016. And on March 5, 2016, Cherry lost the BCW/EmpCW Hardcore Title to Rick Russo after competing in a Handicap Match alongside Brock Landers. Cherry, who often favored the Hardcore style, engaged in bloody warfare against Sadat, Russo, sometimes bringing Brock Landers into the carnage as well. 2016 saw The Creepsters split and Cherry put focus on winning the MSWA Mid-South Title from his former partner, Mr. Barnes. But after several matches where Cherry was unable to capture the title, Barnes found himself suffering from a medical issue that forced him to relinquish the MSWA Title. Cherry was supposed to face Barnes for that title in a Bullrope Match, but ended up defeating Scott Sanders instead to capture the belt on December 16, 2016. Once again, his title run was not lengthy, as he lost the belt to Prince Mahalli in a Triple Threat Match that also involved C. J. Ward on February 24, 2017. That was the last championship that Cherry would hold in his career. Cherry's last high-profile singles feud was a series of matches against Nytronis A'Teo and he was not able to win any of those. Cherry would come under the tutelage of C. M. Burnham in ASP in 2018 where he would team with Angel Camacho and try to unseat Adam Patrick for the ASP Mid-American Title. On June 24, 2018, The Canadian Red Devil defeated Patrick for that title in a Triple Threat Match that also involved Buster Cherry. It was Cherry's final in-ring appearance. He was scheduled to face Rick Russo on August 25, 2018 for the EmpCW title, but did not appear and lost the match by forfeit. In total, Cherry competed in 115 documented matches. By his own admission, he was never going to be thought of as the greatest in-ring technician. But he had overwhelming charisma and understood that he could go and entertain the fans with all the showmanship he possessed.
