The Von Erichs are officially members of the AEW roster, they have announced.
Speaking on the debut episode of their new The Claw Pod podcast, Marshall Von Erich and Ross Von Erich announced that they are under contract to AEW, noting that their independent careers were an “expensive hobby,” but that they are now full-fledged professionals.
“This day we’ve dreamed about for so long is finally here,” said Ross. “This is kind of like the thing that we’ve been working towards our whole careers.”
“Of course, personally, Ross and I, we strive to be the best, the greatest tag team in professional wrestling. And so, we want the biggest accolade you can get, which is the AEW Tag Team Championship,” Marshall said.
Marshall and Ross currently hold the Ring of Honor World Six-Man Tag Team Championship with Dustin Rhodes. The trio have not defended their titles since September after Marshall suffered a partially torn pectoral that has kept him out of action. Rhodes also holds ROH Tag Team gold with Sammy Guevara.
