The resurrection of NWA Universal confirmed

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

THE RESURRECTION OF NWA UNIVERSAL CONFIRMED

Universal Championship Wrestling, LLC announced today that as an associate of the National Wrestling Alliance, NWA Universal will return to The Sooner State. NWA Universal's Intense TV broadcasting program is in negotiations to return via internet and television by summer 2006.

Doug Cook has been named Company Manager and Booker. Cook held the booker position with NWA Oklahoma, and was the booker and broadcasting commentator on NWA Universal's Intense TV. Joni Grimmett is the new merchandising manager and public relations director. Jeff Jackson of WrestleTalkRadio.com has been appointed Media Relations Director and will become a part of the new Intense TV broadcast team. Former owner Christopher Fox will stay on as a consultant, broadcaster and NWA representative.

NWA Universal will announce its first event of 2006 in the weeks to come with the superstars contracted for the event.
