In wrestling history there have been over 100 wrestlers that used or are using the “Dr” title. Here are 5 of the most famous “Doctors” with no medical training.

1) “Dr Death” Steve Williams-Williams got the nickname after breaking his nose and was forced to wear a hockey mask. His coaches and sister referred him to him is “Dr Death” and the name stuck. Note: I found at least 11 other wrestlers using the “Dr. Death” pseudonym.

2) Dr. Tom Prichard-A Bodydonna, a Heavenly Body, part of Camp Cornette, trainer of Edge, Kurt Angle, Mark Henry and others.

Note: Also wrestled as Dr. Ben Casey.

3) “Dr D” David Schultz-Most known for his assault on John Stossel on 20/20 back in the 80’s.

Note: Became a bounty hunter after wrestling.

4) Dr. Wagner/Dr Wagner Jr-Wagner had a great career in Mexico and Japan as did his son. His name was inspired by the German composer Richard Wagner.

Note: Dr Wagner has 3 sons, 2 have become wrestlers. 2 of his grandchildren are also in wrestling.

5) Dr. Bill Irwin-A multiple time tag team champion with his brother Scott. Mostly wrestled in Texas for World Class/Big D wrestling.

Note: Also wrestled as the Super Destroyer.
