Mohammad Now Doing God's Work For MajCW!

Posted: Jul 31st 2024 By: Michael Hunt

To say MajCW went down in a blaze would probably be an understatement.

MajCW owner Oscar Amazing shut the company down at the beginning of 2024 after social media broke a sex scandal involving Amazing and a local fan/photographer. This quickly became the rage of discussion around not only Oklahoma, but the entire region with rumours that the company would be for sale and many of the champions choosing to relinquish their titles rather than return and be associated with the owner.

For most of 2024, MajCW was a dead company. One of many that had briefly flourished, but then quickly burned out.

Around April, rumours of a restart, under the name Madhouse Championship Wrestling, began to ciruclate. A flyer appeared. A venue was chosen. But again, it seemed like divine intervention happened because that show got cancelled as well.

Finally, on July 19th, 2024, MajCW returned. It was a night full of actions as 4 new champions were going to be crowned and there would be all the action MajCW fans had come to expect.

In the course of the night, MajCW fans saw the rise of God's Work, a faction led by ASP Mid-American Champion Father Padge. Together with his brother Cardinal Sin and his associates Bishop Simon and Deacon Hendrix, God's Work captured 3 of the MajCW Titles. Padge himself became MajCW Champion after beating his long-time rival from Arkansas, Athan Sorrow. Simon once again took control of the MajCW Native American Title by beating Nightwolf. And Cardinal Sin won the MajCW 24/7 On Call Title from The Lunchador, then unwittingly surrendered it to Deacon Hendrix. This would be the only title God's Work would not leave Wetumka with, as Tyler Shade would capture that title later that night.

After the main event, with Padge victorious and champion, Oscar Amazing came to the ring for the second time. He had started the event by publicly apologising to the fans for his actions at the end of the previous year. He asked for their forgiveness and promised a return to the action he had provided them before. And at the end of the night, Oscar re-entered the ring to thank them for coming and once again thank them for giving him another chance.

In both circumstances, the only person to vocally protest what he was doing was his wife, Vanessa. Obviously there was still tension in the Amazing household. While everyone else may have been willing to look past the indiscretions, Vanessa could not bring herself to do it.

But no one that night expected what happened at the end of the event. Vanessa came to ringside to confront her husband and express some of her feelings to the fans about what happened. She made it very clear that she no longer wanted a business partnership with Oscar, so unbeknownst to him, she had sold her half of the company to an outside interest.

And when that outside interest walked through the curtain, it was in the form of Mohammad burn Ham.

Burn Ham, who had terrorised the company with Al Farat, was quick to take the microphone and tell Oscar his feelings about what happened. He reminded Oscar that he had betrayed his wife, his family and the wrestlers that worked for him. He then informed Oscar that there was nothing left for him in MajCW and asked that his son, Father Padge, "take out the trash". At that point, all the members of God's Work descended on Oscar, giving him a brutal beatdown for several minutes before Nashoba, Brandon Groom and MajCW Flawless Champion Brandon Warhawk came to the rescue to chase off Burn Ham's associates.

What is the future of MajCW now? The connections Burn Ham has (and the pathways to future financial investments) are obviously much higher, but with him 50% owner of the company, there is no doubt that a strong conflict will arise between the two over how to run the company. Burn Ham seems to have the advantage in power with 2 of the top MajCW Titles under his direct control through God's Work. Oscar hopes he can leverage his appeal with the fans and the wrestlers on his side like Warhawk, Groom and Nashoba, to counter any of the dastardly actions Burn Ham plans.

MajCW has seemingly risen from the ashes. Now, the fans have to hope that God's Work doesn't try to cleanse it with fire.
