Will Ospreay vs. Lance Archer, Mariah May segment announced for AEW Dynamite

Will Ospreay is in action on the next Dynamite.

It was announced on Saturday that Ospreay will face Lance Archer. During Collision, footage was shown of Archer wrestling Ospreay last year in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Archer was then shown destroying extras backstage. That led to a match where Archer took one of the extras into the ringside area, threw him into the ring, then pinned him quickly to score a win ahead of Wednesday.

Also announced is a Mariah May sit-down interview with Renee Paquette. May made her debut as “The Glamour” Mariah May, quickly winning a match on the most recent episode of Dynamite. However, after the bout she was attacked by Toni Storm, who was seeking revenge after May brutally attacked her after winning the Owen Hart Foundation tournament earlier in the month.
