The NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament begins on next week’s NXT.
A video package shown on Tuesday’s show announced that Riley Osborne, Keanu Carver, Tavion Heights, Dion Lennox, Luca Crusifino, Myles Borne, Trey Bearhill, and Oba Femi will participate in the tournament, with matches beginning next week.
Borne, Crusifino, and Femi have appeared on NXT television before. Borne is part of a stable with Drew Gulak, Charlie Dempsey, and Damon Kemp. Crusifino briefly feuded with Von Wagner back in May, and Femi defeated Oro Mensah on NXT back in April and hasn't appeared on TV since.
Back in October, Cody Rhodes announced that after the Women’s Breakout Tournament, there would be a Men’s Breakout Tournament. Rhodes also announced the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic would be making a return.
A match between Gallus and Hank Walker & Tank Ledger was also made for next week. Walker and Ledger confronted Gallus at a bar, issuing a challenge. Gallus accepted.
Here is the lineup for next week’s NXT:
