Sting: 'I'm gonna have a bunch of stitches in my lip' after AEW Dynamite dive

"I'm gonna have a bunch of stiches in my lip, and one of my teeth seems halfway knocked out," said Sting after diving off a ladder on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite.
Addressing the live crowd in Hamilton, Ontario after his main event match on Dynamite, Sting acknowledged that he was injured when he dove off a ladder in the ring onto Sammy Guevara who laid prone on two tables on the floor.
"But it was worth it to do it right here," Sting added.
Sting appeared to come up short on the dive, as the tables that were set up on the floor seemed too far away from the ring for the 64-year-old to execute the move as planned.
In spite of the injury to his mouth, Sting finished the match, forcing Chris Jericho to tap out to the Scorpion Deathlock as Sting and Darby Allin defeated Jericho and Guevara in the main event.
