Styles & Michin vs. Kross & Scarlett, tag gauntlet set for next WWE SmackDown

A mixed tag bout, plus a Tag Team title number one contenders gauntlet match are set for next week's WWE SmackDown.

AJ Styles will team with Michin against Karrion Kross & Scarlett on the June 16 SmackDown episode. The match stems from an angle on this week's show where Scarlett and Kross attacked Styles while he served as a guest commentator for Michin's Money in the Bank qualifying match against Bayley. Scarlett blew red dust into Styles's face, then Kross jumped Styles from behind and put him in the Kross Jacket.

Also set for next week, a tag team gauntlet match will determine the number one contenders to Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn's Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.

Pretty Deadly's Elton Prince & Kit Wilson, Sheamus & Ridge Holland of The Brawling Brutes, Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows, Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins of The Street Profits, and Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro of the LWO will square off in the gauntlet match.

Roman Reigns will also return on next week's SmackDown as The Bloodline's saga continues. Jey Uso was advertised as being set to choose sides between his brother Jimmy and Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and Paul Heyman on this week's show, but the show ended in ambiguous fashion with Jimmy accidentally hitting Jey with a superkick.

Also announced, Charlotte Flair will appear on The Grayson Waller Effect next week. Flair returned to WWE for the first time since WrestleMania on this week's SmackDown and will challenge Asuka for the WWE Women's Championship on the June 30 SmackDown.
