NEWS
Fuego Del Sol talked on Twitter about being backstage at AEW this past weekend. He said “I was at my first AEW show since I was injured in February this past weekend. Though the landscape has changed a bit, I’m more motivated than ever. There is so much more I am going to do and this weekend was the refresher of just how much I dare to be great. Soon.”

There were reports that Karrion Kross and Scarlett were spotted in Saudi Arabia last weekend, but they did not wrestle on "Night of Champions".

Former WWE Intercontinental & United States Champion Carlito was in Orlando for WWE on Thursday, but it remains to be seen exactly why he was in town for. The veteran pro wrestler made a surprise appearance at WWE Backlash last month to help fight off The Judgment Day as Bad Bunny defeated Damian Priest in the San Juan Street Fight. Carlito expressed interest in possibly doing more work with WWE coming out of Backlash. A post-show report noted how WWE officials were “very happy” with Carlito’s return as several people backstage spoke about how much he had matured since his last significant run in 2010. There had been several pitches in recent years to bring Carlito in for brief or full-time runs, and while word coming out of Backlash Weekend was that Carlito’s appearance was only a one-off, it was also said that this could always change.

Among the matches uploaded to the WWE YouTube channel this past week was Scott Steiner vs. Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship at "No Way Out 2003".

Word is that Bad Bunny and Savio Vega have chatted about teaming up in a tag team match.

Week 14 of WWE on A&E had "Most Wanted Treasures" featuring Goldberg, joining Lita, Booker T, and Mick Foley as they hunted down iconic memorabilia from his career. The show drew 295,000 viewers, up 37,000 viewers from episode five but drew 0.07 in 18-49, down 0.01 from last week. It placed #37 on the chart.

Dave Hillhouse of SLAM! Wrestling wrote a story entitled "Goldberg's basic, black accessories become 'Most Wanted Treasures' on A&E", which you can read by clicking here.

On Twitter, Ryback challenged Goldberg to a retirement match. The tweet said "I will be cleared this summer to officially return to wrestling. I challenge @Goldberg in my return to a Retirement Match. #Ryback™? #Hungry #FeedMeMore".

Mickie James has been named as the 2023 Women’s honoree by the Cauliflower Alley Club.

More dates have been added to Kevin Von Erich’s one-man show “Stories From the Top Rope”. Tickets went on sale to the general public on Friday, June 2nd at EmporiumPresents.com. There will also be a very limited number of VIP tickets available which include a meet & greet/photo op. The new tour dates for “Stories From the Top Rope” are September 2nd in San Antonio, September 3rd in Corpus Christi, September 5th in Houston, September 6th in Shreveport, September 8th in Oklahoma City, September 9th in Amarillo, and September 10th in Midland. “Stories From the Top Rope” has Kevin sharing insight into his career, personal triumphs, and tragedies. The evening will be hosted by noted sports reporter Dale Hansen and feature special guest appearance by legendary WCCW referee, booker and promoter David Manning.

Oklafan congratulates Mascara Purpura, who recently surpassed 1 year as CPW 918 Champion. He defeated Double D for the title on June 4, 2022 at an event in Sand Springs.

Oklafan congratulates The Gorilla Militia (Big Sed & Justin James) who recently surpassed 6 months as TexPro Tag Team Champions. They defeated Fly Def (Warren J & Zack Zilla) for the titles on December 2, 2022 at an event in Sherman, TX.
