NEWS
Ricky Morton and Tommy Dreamer were backstage producers at Impact Wrestling's "Spring Slugfest - Night 2" event in Cicero, IL on April 29th.

CM Punk visited both WWE and Impact Wrestling over the past two weeks as both companies ran events near his hometown of Chicago. After Punk's Impact visit, Ricky Morton tweeted "So great to see my friend, @CMPunk What a great time this weekend. Genuinely love what I get to do and be apart of, which is my passion, Professional Wrestling."

Trinity Fatu made her Impact Wrestling debut the weekend of April 28-29 and spoke with NBC 5 in Chicago about her return to wrestling. On leaving WWE she said, “I feel like it was a blessing in disguise. I feel that it’s allowed me to to grow and become better in every way, in every aspect. Show me how strong I really am. And now I’ve got this new journey ahead of me, these new goals, and I’m excited and ready to step into this new chapter.” She is the wife of Jimmy Uso and the daughter-in-law of WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi.

After it was announced that Karrion Kross & Scarlett were drafted to "SmackDown", USA Network tweeted "Bummed but to be fair, last time Kross was here there was a helmet involved so it’s probably for the best (for now!) #WWERaw #WWEDraft".

Among the content uploaded to the WWE YouTube channel this past week was A. J. Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura in a No DQ match for the WWE Championship at "Backlash 2018".

As if you thought the Puerto Rico crowd couldn’t get any louder, Bad Bunny and The Latino World Order had two aces up their sleeves: Puerto Rico’s own Savio Vega and Carlito. Vega and Carlito might not have been the biggest WWE Superstars ever, but the duo have legendary status in Puerto Rico and you can imagine how crazy the crowd went when they each appeared during the street fight between Bad Bunny and Damian Priest. Vega had appeared earlier in the show in a backstage segment where he gave Bunny a kendo stick with a Puerto Rican flag on it. But Carlito – and his apple – were kept as a surprise and the crowd went absolutely bananas when he appeared. Both Vega and Carlito got in on the action as Judgment Day and the LWO brawled all over the place. Carlito even got to spit the apple in Dom’s face much to the enjoyment of the crowd. Carlito enjoyed a seven-year career in WWE from 2003 to 2010 and then made sporadic appearances throughout the years. His last match in WWE was in February 2021 when he teamed up with Jeff Hardy against Elias & Jaxson Ryker. He is a former WWE United States, Intercontinental, Tag Team, and World Tag Team Champion. Vega worked for WWE between 1993 and 1999 and while he started as Kwang, things got better for him when he dumped the gimmick. He is mostly remembered for being part of the Nation of Domination and the leader of Los Boricuas. His last appearance before yesterday was in November 2020 when he showed up at "Survivor Series" for The Undertaker’s retirement ceremony.

Members of The Latino World Order got matching tattoos ahead of Saturday’s "Backlash" event in Puerto Rico. WWE’s social media showed a short video of Rey Mysterio, Zelina Vega, Cruz Del Toro, Santos Escobar, and Joaquin Wilde all getting matching tattoos of the LWO logo.

Reports have surfaced that "several independent sources" have noted that AEW has shown no interest in Tessa Blanchard due to past negative experiences a number of talents have had with the former Impact World Champion. WWE has previously shown interest in Blanchard, but they would want her to start in NXT as a developmental talent. Neither WWE nor AEW have changed their stances on Blanchard and the perception that she is difficult to work with has not been altered. Things could change though if how she is viewed by talent improves or if either promotion suddenly becomes desperate for talent. It was later reported that she has signed with Rob Black's new Xtreme Pro Wrestling. She is the granddaughter of the late Pro Wrestling Hall of Famer Joe Blanchard, the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Tully Blanchard, and the stepdaughter of Professional Wrestling Hall of Famer Magnum T. A.

Trenesha Biggers, who competed in the WWE Diva Search in 2005 and also wrestled as Rhaka Khan in TNA, has filed a $3 billion lawsuit alleging that all the people and companies named in the lawsuit have conspired to kidnap her and her children. Among those listed in the lawsuit include the Federal Bureau of Investigations, the New Mexico Police Department, Home Depot, El Paso Child Protective Services, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Bank of America, the New York Police Department, Suffolk County in New York, Con Edison (the company that supplies electricity service to New York City), the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, New York ACS, basketball Hall of Famer Michael Jordan, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Panda Energy (the now defunct company that owned TNA), Florida Championship Wrestling (now defunct), Deep South Wrestling (now defunct), Billy Corgan (lead singer of Smashing Pumpkins and president of the National Wrestling Alliance), the National Wrestling Alliance, Mick Foley, Jim Cornette, The Miz, Maryse, The Bella Twins (Nikki Bella & Brie Bella), Steve Keirn, Heath Miller, Mark Jindrak, and the late Chris Benoit, who died 16 years ago. Ironically, Biggers did not list her ex-boyfriend, Kurt Angle, in the suit. Angle was charged with harrassing and assaulting Biggers in August of 2009 but those charges were dismissed when Biggers continued to stay at Angle's house nine days after the alleged incident took place.
