Cheerleader Melissa and Paul London were inducted into the GCW Independent Wrestling Hall of Fame on April 2nd in Los Angeles, CA.

Edge Stone was one of the prison guards that accompanied Dominik Mysterio to the ring on night one of Wrestlemania. Wayne Black also appeared on night one during John Cena’s entrance.

WWE stars The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar), and Valhalla spoke with PWMania.com during the Press Junket. During the discussion, they were asked where’s the first place they go when in Los Angeles. Erik said, “Pepper Lunch. We fell in love with Pepper Lunch in Japan and very happy there’s one in L. A. There’s one in Vegas, there used to be one in New York. We seek them out, we try to find them and that’s our stuff every time.” You can see what Erik said by clicking here.

Ric Flair inducted The Great Muta into the 2023 WWE Hall Of Fame, however his speech was met with a lot of criticism. Flair went on in his speech for quite a while, and wound up bringing up several topics, including Sting, who is now in AEW, with very little of the focus being about The Great Muta. According to reports, WWE was reportedly not very pleased with Ric Flair after his speech and it did not go over very well at all internally.

PWInsider noted that names backstage at "WrestleMania 39" include Buff Bagwell, Alexa Bliss, and actor Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Among the matches added to WWE’s YouTube channel this past week was A. J. Styles vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE Championship from "Extreme Rules 2016".

Sherilyn Guerrero, the youngest daughter of Eddie and Vickie Guerrero, revealed in a video on TikTok that she was sexually assaulted in 2020 by her stepfather, Kris Benson, while on a cruise. "Basically, on this cruise, I got sexually assaulted and the unfortunate part is that it was by my stepdad, yeah...it was by my stepdad," Guerrero said. She noted that she was not the only victim but it wasn't her business to talk about the others. "I lived with them so I didn't know what to do," she continued, adding that soon after the cruise, COVID hit and was stuck there. "I worked my ass off to get out of there," she said, mentioning that she got out of the house in September of the same year. Now that three years have passed, 28-year-old Sherilyn said that she's done protecting her mother and her career because her mother chose her husband rather than her. She said Vickie told her it was just a "mistake" and it's not who he is. "I never really felt like she protected me," Sherilyn said, also adding that her mother looked at it as being disrespectful to her relationship and she didn't want to have anything to do with her if she was disrespecting her relationship with her husband. Sherilyn revealed that she cannot even call her mother or her sister because both of them blocked her and they have no relationship now. "It's been f*cking hard," she said. Meanwhile, her cousin, Chavo Guerrero, Jr., issued a statement on Twitter saying that he fully supports her and has been doing so privately in the last couple years of her struggles. "She is a very strong woman for coming forward with the sexual assault she has suffered. I Love You Prima," he wrote. Vickie Guerrero responded on her Instagram then called her daughter a liar and a manipulator before publicly disowning her daughter and vowed legal action, Vickie the started slamming fans who were weighing in on things. Vickie married Kris Benson in September 2015.

Mick Foley is not happy about Rick Steiner’s transphobic rantings. At WrestleCon during WrestleMania week, Rick Steiner subjected Gisele Shaw, a trans woman, to bigoted abuse while she attempted to walk past Steiner’s booth at the convention. Gisele would share the story after the incident and WrestleCon has since banned Steiner from future events. Mick Foley, who was present at WrestleCon, was asked about the incident on "Foley is Pod". “I did hear about the issue…you talking about the Steiner thing? The saddest thing, this is not diminishing Rick Steiner going out of his way to make one of the other guests feel really bad, which is really unfortunate. There is still some backward thinking. Even if someone has an opinion, no need to hurt somebody like that. Completely unnecessary.“ Steiner has yet to comment on the incident, and is currently a part of a local school board near his home. We will have to wait and see what he has to say for himself after this incident."

“Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase is launching a new podcast with Conrad Thompson’s AdFreeShows this May.

Shane Sanchez announced that he has torn his groin at a wrestling event about a month ago and will be out of action 6-9 months. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recvovery.

Oklafan congratulates Wayne Black on his recent engagement.

Oklafan extends condolences to the family and friends of Bushwacker Butch, aka Butch Miller, who passed away April 3rd at the age of 78. At the time of this writing, no cause of death was available. Butch, whose real name was Robert Miller, competed under many names including Nick Carter, The Tiger, and The Detroit Assassin. He began his career in 1964 in NWA New Zealand. He and long time tag team partner Bushwacker Luke (aka Luke Williams) were long time friends and came to the United States at the same time when they were brought into NWA Hawaii in 1965 by Steve Rickard. The pairing would be known as The Kiwis, Los Pastores, The Sheepherders and eventually The Bushwackers. Butch captured his first tag team title in 1974 and only held tag team gold during his career. In fact, basically every territory they went to saw them win tag team titles, sometimes multiple times. By 1981, Butch had wrestled in Puerto Rico enough and wanted to return home to New Zealand, so he was replaced by Lord Jonathon Boyd. But in 1983, Boyd broke his leg and Butch was called back into action. The reunited Sheepherders eventually made their way into the UWF shortly after that company had changed its name. They defeated Ted DiBiase & Steve Williams for the UWF Tag Team Titles on March 16, 1986 in Oklahoma City, OK. But they only held those belts for 2 weeks, fending off rematches from DiBiase & Williams before losing them to The Fantastics (Tommy Rogers & Bobby Fulton). This led to a series of some of the most violent matches in UWF history as The Sheepherders faced The Fantastics in New Zealand Boot Camp Matches, sometimes for the Tag Team Titles, other times as 6-man matches with Jack Victory partnering with The Sheepherders and Terry Taylor linking up with The Fantastics. While competing in the UWF, The Sheepherders also were working in the NWA and gained a slot in the Jim Crockett, Sr. Memorial Cup Tag Team Tournament, where they made it to the 3rd round only to lose in a Double Countout with The Fantastics. Feuds in various territories with The Youngblood Brothers (Mark Youngblood & Chris Youngblood) and The Fabulous Ones (Steve Keirn & Stan Lane) were just as violent and memorable as their ones with The Fantastics. But fate would bring them back to the UWF in late 1987, where they defeated The Lightning Express (Brad Armstrong & Tim Horner) for the UWF Tag Team Titles. They would be the last team to hold those titles as the company was absorbed into the NWA and the titles were discontinued in 1987. But The Sheepherders appeared to be on the verge of gaining more tag team gold, this time the NWA United States Tag Team Titles, when they suddenly signed with the WWF in 1988. Upon arriving in that company, their image completely changed. Gone was the bloodthirsty violent style of The Sheepherders and instead the kid-friendly, funny, not-too-bright style of The Bushwackers was born. They would spend 8 years in the WWF where they were a mid-card tag team at best, but they never received a WWF World Tag Team Title opportunity. They left in 1996 and competed in various independent companies, making one last return to the WWF at WrestleMania X7 in the Gimmick Battle Royal. June 15, 2001 saw their final appearance as a team when they battled The Moondogs to a Double DQ in Memphis. Butch then retired from wrestling in September 2001. He had been suffering from a neck injury and had a brush with sepsis. Butch returned to New Zealand where he served as commissioner of New Zealand Wide Pro Wrestling. In 2015, The Bushwackers would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and in 2018, Butch made his final wrestling-related appearance, managing Luke at a series of events in New Zealand. Butch was scheduled to appear at an autograph signing over WrestleMania weekend, but after arriving in Los Angeles, had to be rushed to the hospital, where he would later pass away. Butch competed on 18 documented Oklahoma wrestling events. The earliest was February 11, 1986, where he teamed with Luke Williams to defeat Ricky Gibson & Al Perez. The last was on an NMS event in 2000, where he teamed with Luke Williams to face The Trojans. No result for that match is known.

The family of Bushwacker Butch has set up a GoFundMe account to help with his medical bills. He was reportedly hospitalized after arriving in Los Angeles for a signing last weekend. If you’re interested, visit the fundraising page by clicking here.
