Mid-States Wrestling to run fundraiser events for fairgrounds in Harrison, Arkansas every Saturday in February

For over 20 years, Mid-States Wrestling has provided family friendly professional wrestling in a 4 states region. Yet, always calling Harrison, Arkansas home. Now they plan to give back to Harrison and Northwest Arkansas.

Every Saturday night in February, MSW will have a fundraiser event to help raise money for the District Fairgrounds in Harrison starting Saturday February 4th. The fairgrounds will use the funds to help purchase new folding chairs, tables and overall improvements to help out with community events and the fair itself. The four shows that will take place in February will all have a start time of 7pm and the doors will open 5:30pm for fans to get autographs and photo opportunities with the wrestlers. These 4 events will bring in National TV stars from over 10 different states to compete in an event designed for all ages.

Wrestler & Harrison native “The Space Cowboy” Jason Jones and WWE Hall of Famer “The Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart, recently met with Mayor Jerry Jackson and Convention & Visitors Bureau representative Matt Bell to discuss the events and the huge opportunity for Harrison being the home base of operations for Mid-States Wrestling and its new television show with the majority of the events filmed here locally and its impact of stimulating economic growth when the events are in town. Bringing lodging, dining, and shopping to area businesses, not to mention fans from over nearby states that come here for the weekend and enjoy the community and all it has to offer. We have several fans that make “mini-weekend vacations” when we have our events here. Jones said “I’m proud fans travel hundreds of miles to see our events here and I’m always proud to share my hometown with them.”

The fundraiser admission tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at CASHSAVER870 Grocery in Harrison, at the door the night of the event starting at 5:30pm, or online at mswtickets.com.
