Ricky Starks advances to AEW World title eliminator tournament finals

The finals for the AEW World title eliminator tournament has been set.
Ricky Starks defeated Brian Cage in a semifinal match at Saturday’s Full Gear Zero Hour pre-show. Starks picked up the win after hitting Cage with the ro sham bo. As a result, Starks will now meet Ethan Page in the finals of the tournament, which was confirmed as taking place this coming Wednesday on Dynamite.
Starks was originally set to have a quarterfinal match against Lance Archer during last week’s AEW Rampage. However, a video was shown on social media showing Archer laying out Starks, postponing the match to this week’s Rampage. Although Archer jumped Starks before the bell rang and dominated the match, Starks was still able to advance to the semifinals after pinning Archer with a spear.
Ethan Page defeated Eddie Kingston and Bandido to reach the finals. He did commentary during Zero Hour and told announcers after Starks won that he was happy he would be facing Starks in the finals.
