Hook vs. Lee Moriarty, Ricky Starks vs. Lance Archer set for AEW Rampage

Hook vs. Lee Moriarty, Ricky Starks vs. Lance Archer set for AEW Rampage

Posted: Nov 17th 2022 By: Josh Nason

This Friday's live edition of AEW Rampage will feature an FTW title match and the lone remaining quarterfinal match in the World title eliminator tournament.

Last week, Lee Moriarty made his intentions clear with regard to challenging for a title in the future. FTW Champion Hook then walked into the frame and essentially answered the challenge as only he can. The match was made official Wednesday.

The Ricky Starks vs. Lance Archer tournament match that was supposed to happen last Friday will finally take place with the winner advancing to face Brian Cage. Based on the timing, it's assumed the Cage vs. Archer/Starks winner will take place on Saturday's Full Gear pre-show as the finals are set for the main card.

Athena will look to keep both her recent win streak and mean streak going when she takes on Madison Rayne.

The three new matches join the previously announced Eddie Kingston & Ortiz vs. Jun Akiyama & Konosuke Takeshita match.

Rampage will be followed by the Full Gear countdown show at 11 PM Eastern on TNT.

Here's the current lineup set for the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey:

Ricky Starks vs. Lance Archer AEW World title eliminator tournament quarterfinal
Athena vs. Madison Rayne
FTW Champion Hook defends against Lee Moriarty
Eddie Kingston & Ortiz vs. Jun Akiyama & Konosuke Takeshita
