NEWS
John Hennigan and Dallas Page are starring in a web series with Tony Horton, who founded P90X, as part of the new web series "Power Up with Tony Horton." The show features Horton and celebrity guests doing fitness challenges and having in-depth conversations.

Legado del Fantasma (Joaquin Wilde, Cruz del Toro, Santos Escobar, & Zelina Vega), Raquel Rodriguez & Shotzi, and L. A. Knight were interviewed on "The SmackDown LowDown" on Friday.

Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson, fresh from their departure from Impact Wrestling, found their way back to WWE and returned during the season premiere of "WWE Monday Night RAW". The duo came to the aid of their friend A. J. Styles, who was once again getting heckled by The Judgment Day. Styles told Finn Balor that he needed family with him and when Balor hugged him, A. J. informed him that he was not talking about him. What Cue in the former RAW Tag Team Champions who came in for a brawl, for many, a surprise return since they left WWE not under the best conditions and were very vocal about it. After signing a new deal, Gallows & Anderson were let go in early 2020 after WrestleMania and they joined Impact Wrestling. They also made several appearances on "AEW Dynamite" when Kenny Omega was pulling double duty as Impact World Champion as well. The two had been very vocal against working for WWE again due to the way they were let go and both took shots at the company during their time away. But a new regime, and a truckload of money, changed things around and The Good Brothers are now back under the WWE umbrella.

Sarah Logan is set to return to WWE as the manager of The Viking Raiders. Recent vignettes have aired hyping the return of The Viking Raiders. In the vignettes, a woman was shown in fur and a headdress standing in front of shields of The Viking Raiders. Her face is not shown but her voice could be heard saying "When the gods speak, I listen. We obey. Valhalla awaits". Logan is the wife of Erik and was previously under a WWE contract before being released due to budget cuts in April 2020.

Karrion Kross was released from WWE nearly a year ago and has since returned to the company sporting his previous NXT gimmick that many find to be successful. That was not the case during his first main roster run when Vince McMahon was controlling creative. Speaking with "The Ringer Wrestling Show" immediately after his victory at "Extreme Rules", Kross reflected on people making fun of him and his mask during his first main roster run. Kross said, “I don’t know if I’ve ever said this publicly, but the first time I came out with the mask, there were people laughing in the audience. They were laughing.” This made Kross feel like he was betraying the wrestling business as he would go on to say, “When I came out with that, and I heard people laughing, I was like, You know ‘What I’m doing right now,’ to me at the time, it felt like I was betraying everything that I wanted to contribute to what I was doing and [betraying the] fans, because the fan in me is still alive. That’s how I know how to read an audience. If you become too high up on your horse, and you disconnect from them, ‘I’ll tell them what they’re gonna like.’ That’s never gonna work.” There was a much different atmosphere in Philadelphia for Kross over the weekend and it did not go unnoticed by Kross. He said “I walked out and they were singing our theme music. The entire audience was singing our theme music. That was a moment we wanted to get to before the pandemic and I got that tonight in a packed house in Philadelphia. So that was incredible. So I would say that that is the major difference between last time and tonight.” Karrion Kross got into the wrestling business to chase the perfect match. He said, “I always remembered getting into this business and thinking to myself, ‘When this is all said and done, I want to leave this place a better place than it was before I came in.’ You want to make it better. You want to make people around you better. You want to make the product better, you want your performances to get better. For me, I’m always chasing the perfect match. That’s my wrestling philosophy. I’m chasing the perfect story and I just always wanted to contribute my best foot forward, artistically, and be work-driven.” Kross admitted that he did not hate the mask he was given during his first run, he just did not think it made any sense given what he was doing in NXT. He was jokingly asked if he would sell the mask but Kross revealed that he does not have it and he left it in the prop truck. Kross said, “If you’re watching Game of Thrones, and suddenly, one of the characters was played by somebody else with no explanation, or he’s just dressed differently or has a new accent or something, it takes you out of the narrative of the story. I feel like that’s what happened. I didn’t think that the character presentation was a bad idea, but just the way it was introduced. It just didn’t make any sense. So people were going, ‘This is not what we wanted.”

Jim Cornette gave his thoughts on various topics on his "Jim Cornette Experience". During it, Cornette praised Imperium (Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser, & Giovanni Vinci) for their wrestling abilities. He believes the trio is too good for today’s wrestling environment: “As I was watching these guys [Imperium] stand in the ring, the way they talk, the expressions, and Gunther’s just amazing. I’m thinking if Bill Watts had these guys or Eddie Graham had these guys, they would be communist officers or Nazi soldiers, they would need police protection in and out of the arenas everywhere they went, they would have snipers staking out the interstate waiting for them to drive out of town.” “These guys could’ve been the hottest fu**ing heels anybody has ever seen. But, they are wasted in sports entertainment, in the modern-day environment. They’re too good for this.”

On another episode of "Jim Cornette Experience", Cornette spoke about the backstage altercation between Andrade El Idolo and Sammy Guevara at the October 5th edition of "AEW Dynamite". Andrade claimed in an interview that Guevara complained that he had been hit too hard during a match between the pair. They later exchanged words on social media. They were spoken to by AEW officials the night before the fight and they both promised there wouldn’t be issues. A fight broke out, which saw Andrade throw punches at his rival, who didn’t fight back. Andrade was sent home. The legendary wrestling manager said Andrade El Idolo should have been booted from the company before now: “He [Tony Khan] should have fired him [Andrade] before. I can’t believe that once a year, at least, Tony has not sat down and looked at his talent roster and looked at the contributions or lack thereof that some were making, and look at the bloated nature of the nobodies that he just has everywhere and look at the people that, [they] couldn’t sell pussy on a troop train much less goddamn have a great wrestling match.” “And it’s just an indie darling that was of the moment and somebody got you know, f*cking hysterical and signed him up and clear everybody out once a year. Go up and down your entire roster contracts coming up. People on per nights, who do we f*cking need? Who do we not need? Who’s worked out? Who’s just f*cking hanging around and who’s not worth a sh*t?” “Okay, these contracts they’re going to be due in six months, but I shouldn’t have signed them to begin with. So these guys are the ones that are going to be putting everybody over trying to get some other people f*cking over whatever. But he hasn’t done housecleaning in three years. A couple of the people that really f*cked up bad like that f*cking Jimmy Havoc and [Joey Janela] and whatever they were allowed to matriculate out.”

There are many great managers in the history of professional wrestling, but Dan Lambert believes that Jim Cornette is the greatest of all time. Dan Lambert was a recent guest on "INSIGHT" with Chris Van Vliet to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked about the greatest wrestling managers of all time, Lambert was quick to put over Jim Cornette. “Jim Cornette is the greatest manager of all time. He just is,” Dan Lambert said. “I think [better than Heyman], and I love Heyman, but I grew up with Cornette. A lot of it, who you remember as the greatest football player or basketball player, is who you were the most exposed to when you were younger. Bobby Heenan towards the end of his run, I have been watching since the late ’70s, but it was towards the end of his run when he was in the AWA when I first started watching wrestling, so I didn’t have much exposure to him before he went to WWE. We didn’t get AWA until it was on ESPN for a short period. But Cornette was right in my wheelhouse. Man, he was just so good. I know a lot of people have said that the things I have said in your promos are what Cornette has said on his podcast, but I don’t listen to podcasts. So, I’m like, oh cool, if Cornette says it, then it must be right. I always took that as a compliment, I thought the guy was so great back in the day.”

Tony Khan talked to Pro Wrestling NOAH regarding The Great Muta and Sting teaming together next year. You can watch the video on NOAH's Twitter page by clicking here.

On the latest edition of his DDP Snakepit podcast WWE Hall of Famer and current AEW star Jake “The Snake” Roberts explains why the Undertaker enjoyed traveling with him during their WWE days, joking that it was due to his knowledge of strip clubs. Check out the full story below. Says Undertaker wanted to ride with him because he knew where all the best strip clubs were: “You know, he first came to me when he first got there and he says, ‘Jake, I’ll be riding with you.’ I’m like, ‘Well that’s kind of bold. You going to go setting up rides for me now?’ He goes, ‘No, I want to travel with you.’ I’m like, ‘Okay, so you want to get underneath the learning tree. I appreciate you being bold enough to come and ask me straight out. Hey man, I’ll be glad to share anything I know.’ He says, ‘That’s great too, but I heard you know where all the good strip joints are.’ I said, ‘Worldwide.’ He said, ‘Well, I’m going to hang with you.” Jokes that he was going to bury Taker at the clubs before adding that these were some of his favorite times: “I said, ‘Dude, let’s be honest, you played basketball, didn’t you?’ He said, ‘Yeah.’ I said, ‘You’d probably be better off going and dribbling somewhere in a corner than trying to hang with me because I’ll bury your dumb ass. You can’t hang with me.’ He says, ‘It’s a challenge! I’ll meet you one-for-one.’ I said, ‘Okay, let’s go.’ So we did that for about two months but it was taking a heavy toll on him. I remember going to TV one night and Vince says, ‘Hey, Deadman, you don’t need to put the paint on tonight, you’re looking dead enough already. You need to get the hell away from Jake.’ A week or two later somebody told me he got alcohol poisoning. That’s when I ended the contest and said, ‘Look man, I cheat. There’s no way in hell I’m going to lose to you. Because I know there is vitamins that you can take that will keep you going no matter how much you drink.’ I shared the information with him, which wasn’t a good thing to do because it was something that was highly addictive. That was my bad. But no, Mark traveled with me, man, some of my favorite times.”

During a recent episode of "DDP Snakpit", Jake Roberts talked about the Montreal Screwjob, whoch took place at "WWF Survivor Series 1997" pay-per-view event and occured when Vince McMahon called for the bell while Shawn Michaels had Bret Hart in the Sharpshooter. This was done to have Michaels win the WWF World Title as Hart was leaving for WCW. “I don’t agree with that [leaving as Champion] at all. You know, there’s been so many guys who get away with it too. Holding up promoters because they don’t want to lose the title in a certain area. Maybe Canada, has that ever happened? Oh wait, it did. Shawn and Bret. He didn’t want to drop it in Canada, so they [Vince McMahon and others] screwed him. “You didn’t get screwed a**hole! You got what you deserved. How do you have the right, not to drop that title? That title, that was given to you. You did not beat up anybody to get that. “The reason you have that title is because some other schmuck was a good enough guy to lose to you [The Undertaker at Summerslam 1997.] So you not dropping that title tells me you don’t give a flying f*ck about anybody else but yourself, and that’s very selfish. It’s wrong and if you are contemplating doing it, that’s for you.”
