Sammy Guevara says he wasn’t originally scheduled for last week’s AEW Rampage

Sammy Guevara is the latest wrestler to reveal his work schedule was disrupted following the backstage altercation at AEW All Out.

Guevara cut a promo on the most recent episode of his vlog stating that he was supposed to have the week off. This comes after a recent report that Jon Moxley was also scheduled for a six-week vacation following the pay-per-view.

"I'm not here because I got fired from somewhere else, I'm here because I want to be. I'm not asking for my release, I want to be here," Guevara said during the promo. "I didn't have to go to work here today, alright, I had the week off, but here I am putting on five-star matches that I don't even get the recognition for, huh Meltzer? Where's my stars? You want to give stars to all your favorites but where's my stars?"

Chris Jericho was also not originally booked for Dynamite last week but was later added to the show following the suspensions of CM Punk, Kenny Omega, and The Young Bucks.

Guevara is scheduled to face Jon Moxley in the semi-finals of the Grand Slam Tournament of Champions on Rampage this week. He defeated Darby Allin in a quarter-final match on Friday's edition of Rampage.
