ACH announced on his Instagram that he will be stepping away from wrestling once again. The 15 year veteran has been recently competing at St Louis Anarchy, West Coast Pro, and AAW:Pro Wrestling Redefined, where he is AAW Tag Team Champion with Jah-C. ACH had previously stepped away from wrestling in June 2021 and later made his return in October of that year. He has held championships in AAW, Evolve, and other promotions.

Mickie James returned to Impact Wrestling last week for a major announcement of her own. James cut an emotional promo in the ring which detailed the death of her sister, getting released from WWE, and returning to Impact. She thanked her fans for sticking by her and then addressed what's next for her. The 43-year-old said that after months of soul-searching, she wants to find out if she can still hang out with the best and announced an open challenge for her, going through everyone who responds to eventually get an Impact Knockouts Title match. But there is a catch. If she loses any match along the way, or loses the title match if she gets there, she will then retire. The angle is similar to what Ric Flair did on his way to "WrestleMania 24" when Vince McMahon made Flair wrestle all the top guys and if he loses, he had to retire. Flair ended up losing to Shawn Michaels at "WrestleMania".

Among the matches added to WWE's YouTube channel last week was Goldberg vs. Shawn Michaels from the October 20, 2003 edition of "WWE Monday Night RAW" and Goldberg vs. Evolution (Triple H, Batista, & Randy Orton) in a Handicap Match from the November 17, 2003 episode of RAW.

On Saturday last week, Triple H tweeted “You cannot talk about this industry throughout the entire United Kingdom without mentioning the impact of Adrian Street and Miss Linda. Thrilled to have them both here in Cardiff for #WWECastle!”

Austin Aries and EC3 of Control Your Narrative wished Braun Strowman all the best on his return to WWE. Strowman had been working with CYN during his time away from WWE.

Former three-time AEW TNT champion Sammy Guevara defeated Darby Allin last week on "Rampage" to advance in the AEW Grand Slam Tournament of Champions. Guevara will now face Jon Moxley on next Wednesday’s episode of "Dynamite" while Bryan Danielson, who went through Hangman Page a few days ago, will face Chris Jericho in an "All Out" rematch in the next tournament round. The winners of these two matches, both happening next Wednesday, will face each other on "Dynamite: Grand Slam" on September 21st. The AEW World Title was vacated by AEW President Tony Khan following the actions that took place on Sunday night after "All Out". Former champion CM Punk was also injured and underwent torn triceps surgery, leaving him out of action for up to nine months.

Ric Flair said on his podcast that Bradley Cooper has been talked to about playing Flair in a movie. He said “Well, there’s talks right now that I can’t mention. They are making a movie about my life and I know that they’ve talked to Bradley Cooper. I could see him doing that. I could see him.. that’s the only name that’s come up I don’t.. That’s only rumored. I mean, I’ve heard it officially, but it’s not in place. So ladies and gentlemen, it’s not true that he’s playing Ric Flair. I’ve heard they’ve talked to him, that’s it. Bradley Cooper is not playing me in a movie, yet. I hope he does.”

Ric Flair and Dean Malenko visited Steve “Mongo” McMichael to support McMichael as he battles ALS. Flair was part of an event that Conrad Thompson and Ad Free Shows held in the Chicago area last week to raise money for McMichael and his family.

Marti Funk, the wife of Dory Funk, Jr., has come under some accusations as of late. Dillon Hines, the son of Bobby Fulton, said Marti owes him and his father the sum of $1,000, from deposits on two events. One event was canceled due to the pandemic, the other she canceled about a month before because Dory and her were “too busy”. He said he has tried multiple times to get their money back with no success. Hines also said that Marti charges $150 for Dory to autograph a title belt and that she has crossed out Dory's signature on trading cards after he signs them, Jim Cornette has also made accusations about Marti as well. She made a post saying Cornette's accusations are false and she is innocent.
