Charlotte Flair Reveals Spot She Is Stopping Ric Flair From Doing In His Final Match

Ric Flair is preparing to pull out all the stops for his retirement match, but WWE's Charlotte Flair isn't letting him do one specific move.
Ric Flair is currently gearing up to compete in his retirement match during SummerSlam weekend, and while he has been training hard to get ready, Charlotte Flair has stepped in and put a stop to one spot he wanted to do.
The final match of the Nature Boy's career is taking place as part of the Starrcast V events, with this being a historic callback to the past with Jim Crockett Promotions being at the heart of everything. Even though Ric has technically retired twice already, once in WWE, and the other time in TNA, he is competing one more time, and he has claimed this will be the last.
The event is being run by Conrad Thompson, and it will see Ric team up with his son-in-law, Andrade El Idolo as they take on the team of Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett, with this match bringing together experience and current stars. Lethal had been training the Nature Boy to get him prepared for this one, and that has then played into the storyline, with Ric set to do everything possible to make this an entertaining match.
Charlotte Flair Stops Her Father
There might be a presence from a lot of different promotions at this event, but Charlotte is not expected to be appearing on camera, but she is having a role to play on the event itself, and the Queen is set to be in attendance to support her father and her husband.
She is well known for being close with her father, and considering there are plenty of health concerns surrounding the two-time Hall Of Famer, Charlotte is ensuring that he does everything he can to look after himself. Ric wanted to add a dive to the outside in this match, but Charlotte revealed to Marc Raimondi of ESPN that she has put a stop to that.
"A lot of our men and women in all companies miss those all the time," said Charlotte. "I was like, 'No, not needed, not necessary. Wasn't necessary in your prime, isn't necessary now. So, no.'"
Even though fans won't be getting to see Flair do a dive to the outside, he could end up taking a bump from the top turnbuckle as he has shown himself doing that on Twitter as part of his training.
