It is being rumored that Fuego del Sol has been released from his AEW deal. There is no mention of AEW on his Twitter account and he sent out a cryptic tweet that said "Change is going to come".
Ricky Starks has no problem with ex-WWE guys joining AEW as long as they don’t act like they are better than the AEW originals. Since AEW began in 2019, one of the hot topics regarding the promotion has been their habit of snapping up free agents who previously worked for the WWE. We have seen Tony Khan bring in several stars who used to wrestle in the WWE like CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Keith Lee, and several more. Speaking to Nick Hausman of Wrestling Inc., Starks was asked whether seeing the promotion sign former WWE stars gives him a chip on his shoulder. “No, not at all,” he replied. “I don’t believe in having a chip on my shoulder because that makes me a whiny little bitch. But what I do believe in is, these people who come in and the attitude of a higher-than, and we are a less-than, you get what I’m saying? I think it should be noted that there’s a reason those people don’t work there anymore, and we should look at the facts of why.”Starks would take the deciding pinfall on last Wednesday’s edition of Dynamite where Swerve In Our Glory (Swerve Strickland & Keith Lee) would become AEW Tag Team Champions in a shocking result.

During the latest episode of his "Grilling JR" podcast, Jim Ross discussed the recent change in commentary pattern on "AEW Dynamite" and "AEW Rampage". Ross, who has been part of the "Dynamite" commentary team since day one, is now doing only the second hour of the show and then stays on to do the one-hour "Rampage" TV tapings that follow the conclusion of "Dynamite". Ross said that it was purely a Tony Khan decision after he thought that "Dynamite" needed a "boost" half-way through the broadcast. JR now gets an entrance, hypes up the crowd at the top of the stage, and joins the commentary team for the remainder of the broadcast. "So I come out in the middle of the show. Still going to call the main event," JR said. "Then we all take a bathroom break with the crew and then we go right into taping 'Rampage'." JR added that he did not have any issues or objections to the change and he's happy to give "Rampage" a boost with his commentary, noting that they need to "get the ratings up" and the change was one of the reasons for that.
Killer Kross wants to return to television alongside his wife, Scarlett Bordeaux. Following their debut in 2020, the duo had a successful run on NXT. Kross won the NXT Championship twice as he was one of the most dominant competitors on the brand. However, his run on the main roster quickly fizzled out due to a number of creative missteps, and the company released him in a wave of budget cuts. Now, Kross and Bordeaux continue to compete for a number of promotions on the independent circuit. In an interview with Kevin Kellam of Sportskeeda Wrestling, when asked about his goals for the future, Kross noted that there are some things that he and Scarlett can only do separately, but they believe they work better together as a package deal on television. He also recalled how they couldn’t gauge crowd interactions during their run in NXT because it came at a time when fans weren’t attending shows due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “I mean, yeah, her and I are open to performing separately, we have all year,” said Kross. “There are certain things that we want to get out artistically that are only gonna be able to be done on our own. But in terms of a television presentation, we just think it would be better for us to be working together, and that’s solely based off of fan interaction. We were in lockdown and we were in WWE for the two years. It was a very strange time. “We weren’t able to engage with our audience and our fans like we used to back in the beginning of 2019 and everything prior to that. Now that the market is opened back up, everybody’s out, we’re doing meet and greets and seeing fans every single weekend. Like thousands of people at a time. And the one thing that people always tell us is, when are you guys coming back together on TV? So we enjoy working together, but the choice to want to work together is completely based off of what the audience is telling us.” The former NXT Champion then noted that he and Scarlett have always tried to listen to the fans, and this approach has worked out well for them. He emphasized that the duo wants to work together on TV, but if another opportunity comes up, they would consider it if they were confident that people would want to see it. “I’ve always said this from the very beginning — if you listen to the audience, they’ll tell you what they want,” said Kross. “It doesn’t have to be this long confusing equation of a trial and error. They’re telling you what they want. So we’ve always tried to work towards pleasing the people, and that’s always been very beneficial to us and our careers. So we think that’s the best course of action, in terms of working in a globally western television market, would be to work together. “And if another or a better idea was proposed, and we were certain that people would want to see it, we would definitely entertain it. But in terms of keeping up the momentum, her and I both love this. So it’s easy. You find a job, you work. Find a job you love, and you never work a day in your life, as the old saying goes.” “The Herald of Doomsday” will be in action at Ric Flair’s Last Match. He will take on Harry Smith. Kross will also face Tony Nese in the first round of the Wrestling Showcase.
Killer Kross had a rocky end to his time with Impact Wrestling before joining WWE and requested his release from Impact in May of 2019 and publicly acknowledged it. Impact didn’t grant the release until December of that year. Scarlett also requested her release in June of 2019. Kross recently appeared on "The Wrassingh Show", and during it, he confirmed that they won’t be going back to the company: “Respectfully, neither of us will be returning,” Kross said (per Fightful). “For the record, many of our friends work there, we are very happy for the success that they are finding. We’ve had many people in our corner for years that still work for that company. We have never ever been on record to say anything derogatory or negative about any company we’ve ever worked for. That’s beneath us.” He continued on to say, “There are a lot of people involved, with companies per se, and when you have a problem with one or two or three people, it’s not necessarily a systemic issue. We’re happy for everybody’s success and we don’t live in that place anymore. We are always moving forward. We leave it behind us and that’s really all I have to say about it.”
Killer Kross was a recent guest on The Ten Count from NBC Sports Boston to talk about his run in WWE, where Kross discussed his relationship with the WWE writing team, and how he had ideas to revive one of the company’s top factions from the Attitude Era, the Corporate Ministry. Highlights from the interview are below. Says he loved the writers he got to work with in WWE: “All of the writers that I dealt with, loved them. I know that writers get completely skinned and like decapitated and delimbed from wrestlers saying that the writers suck and they’re terrible, etc. I didn’t have any issues with any of the writers that I worked with. I loved all of them, I got to know them personally and professionally. The problem was that all the ideas that we would come up [with] together, whether they had awesome ideas for me, or they would ask me about my own ideas, they all have to go through one person. So, if that one person, it feels like it doesn’t resonate to them, they don’t make sense, or they’re just not in the realm of how they particularly see things going [and] entertaining people, then they’re just gonna go out the window.” Reveals that he wanted to bring back the Corporate Ministry faction from the Attitude Era: “Yeah, I had ideas about bringing back The Corporate Ministry, it was one of my final ideas that I had and I had a series of writers on board with that who thought it was a very good idea. I had a bunch of people that I thought would be perfect for it. They were talking about creating potentially like a podium and some other props and stuff that have gone to other people, which is fine because they weren’t my ideas anyway. The props, they’ve been given to other people and it’s really cool how it’s coming off on TV. I thought pitching those ideas would be cool because there’s some nostalgia to it. You know, with all these crazy conspiracy theories that are always going around about esoteric businesses and stuff like that and cults, and evil companies and stuff like that, I thought there would be a tasteful way to fictionalize that type of stuff and put it back on TV with a nostalgic twist. The only people that I had not got a blessing from to do it would be like Taker and Vince, talking to them about it. I think I would have to have, of course I’d want them involved with it. They were the two evil guys that were from that, I thought that would have been cool to revisit, a concept of that.”
WWE announced last week that Jeff Jarrett will be the special guest referee for The Usos (Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso) vs. The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) match for the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Titles at "SummerSlam". Jarrett, now occupying the corporate job of Senior Vice President of WWE Live Events, last appeared on WWE television in a backstage segment with Rick Boogs and Shinsuke Nakamura in January of this year. The Usos and The Street Profits had some incredible matches, including one at "Money In The Bank" which ended with Montez Ford getting pinned despite his shoulders not being down.
During the latest episode of "My World", Jeff Jarrett discussed the career of The Steiner Brothers (Rick Steiner & Scott Steiner), including their WCW and WWF runs and Scott's run in TNA. He also talked about World Wrestling All-Stars and more. Jarrett talked about the conversation Scott Steiner had with Dixie Carter that led to Scott leaving TNA after "Final Resolution" in 2009: “I was on the outs. Dixie sent me home. He (Scott Steiner) went and had the conversation with Dixie, looked her in the face, and said, ‘Do you think you made the right decision sending Jeff home?’ It was straight up, no string attached, no frills, no political b.s. He said, ‘Dixie, we’re running a business here. Do you think you made the right decision?’ Obviously, I wasn’t there, but Scott said she couldn’t get away from him quick enough. It got uncomfortable and Scott didn’t want to be uncomfortable. He looked Dixie in the eye and said, ‘Hulk Hogan will run you out of business. He will put you out of business.” “I had been sent home. The Main Event Mafia was disbanded. Hulk had come in, promised her the moon, got rid of the six-sided ring, and this and that. So it was clearly Dixie and Hulk leading the charge. Scott Steiner went up to her and said, ‘Do you think you made the right decision? We're making money and the ratings are good.’ He understood how fragile the dynamic could be. He didn’t want to come off screaming or hollering. He said it low key. I always loved Scottie. I respected him. He has been there for me in the darkest hours of my life when I wanted nobody around. He has, in some really difficult times, been there for my daughters. If you have Scott Steiner as a friend, you have a friend. When he told me that story months later, maybe even a year later, I had no idea he said that to Dixie. He’s not your ordinary average thinker. He really thought this through and made sure he didn’t have the conversation with me before he had it with her or long after. Scott is very good with his money and always has been. He said, ‘Jeff, I saw it, and I saw it coming way before anybody else did.’ I know a lot of folks that I would have put on a list that I thought would have had that conversation that ran from the hills. You can fill in the blank. Scottie didn’t. You put that, and what eventually transpired, and I have a good feeling Dixie never forgot that conversation.” The entire episode can be heard at AdFreeShows.com.
Mick Foley felt that Chris Jericho had "IT". Chris Jericho has had an incredible wrestling career spanning almost three decades at this point. He signed with WCW and the WWE during the late 90s, being one of the many stars to appear on both companies programming during the Monday Night Wars. Mick Foley recently took to Twitter and responded to a tweet from Jericho regarding their attendance at a show at the Ryogoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo. Foley was so impressed by Jericho, that he recommended Jericho to Paul Heyman. “Definitely a real story. I did attend the Sumo show with @MasanoriHorie – and based on that amazing match, gave @IAmJericho my highest recommendation to @HeymanHustle Jericho attended an #IWAJapan show a week later – and we hit it off instantly.” Its interesting to see how circumstances shaped some of pro wrestling’s most famous stars. Jericho is currently feuding with Eddie Kingston in AEW and has been signed to the promotion since 2019.
Mick Foley has filed a trademark for the term “Kindman”, a play off his WWE character Mankind.
On the latest edition of his "Foley Is Pod" program, Mick Foley revealed that top WWE Superstar Becky Lynch had at one point considered leaving the company prior to her run as "The Man" in 2018-2019, a character change that catapulted her to the main event scene. Foley talked about the advice he gave to Lynch at that time that convinced her stick around. Here are the highlights are below: How Lynch was considering moving on from WWE at one point prior to her run as The Man: “Before Becky Lynch became The Man, before she got that break that we all thought she was due, she was really wondering, you know, she’s really down on herself, down on her role with the company, wondering if it was all worth it. I remember giving her two pieces of advice.” On the advice he gave her that made her stay: “I said, be patient, be ready. I relayed to her a story about me being in the Memphis studio, and I was forbidden from talking because I had some of the tell-tale sounds of a New Yorker, which wasn’t good, especially because Gary Young and I just turned babyface in Memphis. The crowd would have turned on a babyface New Yorker in a heartbeat. But what happened is Gary was a good promo guy, he fumbled a little bit. Lance Russell hands me the microphone and I was ready with stuff and cut a pretty good promo. So with that in mind, that’s what I told Becky. And then I also told her not to give up on the independent scene. It might refresh her and you know, remind her what she loves. And I said, if you don’t mind me asking, like what did you make last year? I won’t tell you what she made, I’ll just tell you my reaction was, oh, well, you’ve got to stay in WWE. I didn’t know that the money had picked up for the women to that extent. And like you said, how many women do you think are making seven figures? Six or seven?”
A follow-up cryptic video aired on "WWE Monday Night RAW" last Monday and it continued to confirm that the video is likely for the return of Edge. The first video, which aired during "Money in the Bank", had the "Easter eggs" of a license place with “LATINOHEAT” on it, a hanging gold medal, a taped glass frame, armbands which look like they belong to The Hardy Boyz, a crow, and a cross. The new video had Mick Foley's flannel shirt on fire, throwback to their WrestleMania match, an RKO t-shirt, and a burned John Cena hat. These are all individuals who Edge had big feuds with over the years. Edge has not been seen on WWE television since the June 7th episode of RAW when Finn Balor, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley turned on him and kicked him out from The Judgment Day faction he founded.
Mick Foley has announced that he signed a new Legends contract with WWE that will come into effect on August 1st. In a video, Foley said that due to the nature of his contract, he has to pull all his merchandise from Pro Wrestling Tees as WWE will have the exclusive when it comes to selling Foley merchandise after July 31st. "Please feel free to order as many shirts as you like through July 31. I love seeing them at appearances," Foley said in the video posted on the @PWTees Twitter account. "I'm really grateful for the relationship that I've had and continue to have with Pro Wrestling Tees. I appreciate all of you who understand and I understand that some of you won't understand and that's okay too!" Foley has not appeared on WWE television since 2020.
WWE’s YouTube channel uploaded A. J. Styles vs. Kofi Kingston from the July 30, 2019 episode of "WWE Friday Night SmackDown".
Vince McMahon recently stepped down as the CEO & Chairman of the WWE in light of allegations that he paid off women to keep quiet about sexual harrassment claims against him. Stephanie McMahon was named the Interim CEO & Chairwoman. Former WWE Women’s Champion Gail Kim tweeted the following about this situation: “Why is this behavior accepted?? I don’t understand … someone explain this to me. I feel like the women of this world are being challenged right now.” A fan then tweeted: “Why is this being put on just him though? Didn’t the women agree to these NDAs? Did he actually rape someone or whatnot? If they took the money then they are just at fault.” Gail then replied: “This response is so typically male. You will never understand the pressures of male power over females. And fear. Fear based environments.”
During an appearance on "The Michael Kay Show", Goldberg was asked if he feels hurt that Bret Hart still holds a grudge over the kick that ended Hart’s in-ring career. Goldberg said “Yes. As Goldberg the character and Goldberg the human. When an accident happens and you tell your side of the story and nobody believes it, especially the person who is negatively affected by it, yeah, it sucks. I will take it to my grave. I'm sure he will never forgive me. What else can I say? I said I was sorry and that it was unintentional and it was the furthest thing from my mind a million times. Of the million times, he's come back with, 'Yes, it was intentional, he's a punk, he didn't know what he was doing, he ruined my career.' It sucks. You can lead a horse to water and shove their face in the damn water, but you can't shove it up their esophagus. If you can tell, I'm pretty pissed off about the fact that he still harbors it. It sucks. I truly believe that it shows what a human being I am that I can forgive people for accusing me of something that is not true.”
Jim Cornette isn’t a fan of Jon Moxley’s in-ring style. In January of this year, Moxley would return to AEW following a stint in rehab due to alcoholism. Upon returning to the company, Moxley has been on an incredible run and is the current AEW Interim World Champion while CM Punk recovers from surgery. While speaking on the "Jim Cornette Experience", Jim Cornette talked about Moxley’s most recent match. He blasted Moxley for being the worst wrestler in the world. “I will give this a chance just to see if Moxley does something different this time. So I paid attention. Under one minute and 15 seconds, they went to the floor. I just said, f*ck it, Moxley’s the worst wrestler in the world and I tried to fast-forward to the finish but [AEW] can’t manage the time. So they almost run over.” While most fans would disagree with Cornette’s evaluation of Moxley’s in ring skills, he is entitled to have that opinion.
Kenny Omega was recently criticized by Jim Cornette after his latest comments on the latter. During an appearance on CEOGaming's Twitch channel, Omega briefly spoke about Cornette's podcast and jokingly noted the veteran was playing a character. He also highlighted that the wrestling legend seeks validity by making harsh comments about other performers. During the most recent episode of "The Jim Cornette Experience", Cornette lambasted Omega for his involvement in the wrestling business. “You ruined a pastime, a hobby, an interest, and entertainment that a lot of us had, and some of us [had] professionally, for decades and decades, because it’s just so silly and phoney and stupid and illogical. And you’ve made wrestling something to be laughed at and you admit that it should be fun, we should all laugh and have fun at the silliness,” Cornette said. Cornette also compared his stint in professional wrestling with that of Kenny Omega: “So Kenny, you’ve been on TV in this country for three years? I’ve been on TV in this country most of the time for the past 40 years. You’re an insufferable tw*t, a douc****g and a sh*tty wrestler is what you are. So embrace it! And because that’s what your friends are, too, they should embrace that as well.” The animosity between Cornette and Omega seems far from over after the former's recent statement .
Though they haven’t always seen eye to eye, Kevin Nash opened up about the time he found respect for Jim Cornette. In 1996, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall were about to depart the WWF for a new contract with WCW. At their final appearance in Madison Square Garden, Nash, then appearing as Diesel, took on Shawn Michaels in the main event, and Hall had wrestled a young Hunter Hearst Helmsley earlier in the night. The event is infamous for ending in a so-called “curtain call” where Nash, Hall, Helmsley, and Michaels embraced and took a bow after the match, breaking kayfabe as babyfaces and heels appeared together. Speaking on the debut edition of his "Kliq This" podcast, Nash spoke about the infamous event, maintaining that the group wasn’t trying to do anything to hurt the wrestling business with the incident. “Yeah, my whole thing is this. So if you’ve ever watched that thing in its entirety. I take the superkick, I sell it. Shawn walks out of the cage, touches the floor and comes back in and I’m still selling it. He bends over like smacks me around, I think he bends down and kisses me on the forehead. I still sell the superkick. “Down comes Scott and Paul (Helmsley), I’m still selling the superkick they get me to my feet. I staggered to the corner, I’m still selling. Because I mean I’m just breaking kayfabe like a motherf*cker as I sell my way to the corner. That’s why the first hug when you see that photograph, we’re all in that f*cking turnbuckle because I was using the turnbuckle to keep myself up.” Cornette has famously been critical of the "Curtain Call", saying that the breaking of kayfabe on that occasion was unacceptable and disrespectful to both Vince McMahon and his father who built the company before him, especially as it took place in Madison Square Garden. Nash responded to this criticism, saying that they weren’t trying to be disrespectful or break the wrestling business with their actions. “We weren’t trying to f*cking destroy the business. We weren’t trying to show everybody that it was, if it would have been a work I would have f*cking jumped up and f*cking done ‘It’s entertainment!’ I mean like he does, like before you open your mouth, look at it. And he will now, and I didn’t like Cornette. I didn’t like him until we got to TNA. Me and Cornette would be in a room and these guys would be laying the sh*t out. Him and I at the same time, [we’d] be like ‘whoa, whoa, wait wait a minute, that doesn’t make f*cking sense.’ I looked at myself I said, ‘Oh my God.’ I said as you get older your psychology and there’s so many things that change on how you look at the business.” Though he butted heads with Cornette in the past, Nash praises the legendary manager for being smart and understanding the wrestling business, even if he believes neither one of them is great at booking a promotion. “But you know, Cornette’s smart. I mean he’s a smart guy, he does know the business. He can’t book a territory nor can I book a territory, but us together with a couple other guys with Shawn and a couple other people? Yeah, we could we could definitely do some damage.”
It appears that Ric Flair took exception to Chris Jericho‘s promo Wednesday night on "AEW Dynamite". Jericho cut a promo addressing Eddie Kingston and their Barbed Wire Everywhere Death Match next week on "Dynamite". During the promo, Jericho referred to himself as a “Living Legend,” which apparently got under the skin of Flair, who took to social media to voice his displeasure, tweeting out: “Living Legend In Your Own Mind. Shawn Michaels Wanna Be. Ric Flair Never Will Be. WOOOOO! Where Did You Buy That Cheap Suit? Obviously Not From @GentsPlaybook”. This isn’t the first time Flair has called out a follow wrestler on Twitter, as he has called out Becky Lynch several times in recent years. With Ric Flair’s opponent for July 31st yet to be announced, you can’t help but wonder if perhaps this is the beginning of a storyline between Flair and Jericho that will lead to the two men facing each other in Nashville later this month. As of this writing, Jericho has yet to respond to Flair’s tweet.
The first part of a 3-part documentary series on Ric Flair's Final Match has been uploaded and can be viewed by clicking here.
Fans expressed their concern when Ric Flair announced he was stepping into the ring for one last-time at the age of 73 at the "Ric Flair’s Last Match" event on July 31st. Former NWA color commentator David Crockett also had his doubts and opened up about his initial feelings on the "Under the Ring" podcast. He said “At first, I was extremely concerned,” with Crockett continuing “He’s gonna do it. Now, he’s not gonna be like the Ric Flair that I knew at first… but he’s gonna be great.” This will be Flair’s first match since losing to long-time rival Sting on an episode of "Impact Wrestling" in September 2011. It’s believed he will work a six-man tag team match, but his partners and opponents have yet to be announced.
The Rhodes family announced the launch of The Dusty Rhodes Foundation which will help carry out Dusty’s legacy and dreams by helping children play sports who couldn’t otherwise. "Together we can inspire and support youth athletics in disadvantaged and underserved communities and make a big difference in the lives of these amazing children," read a press release issued. It noted that Dusty’s dreams began on the playing fields of his youth and as an athlete in many sports, his baseball and football abilities earned him a full athletic scholarship which made him the first in his family to attend college. "Dusty was an inspiration to all those who knew him. For his dreams to live on, we must inspire and support the next generation of athletes. Many children today do not have the opportunity to play sports because of the yearly rising costs associated with organized leagues & travel ball. Additionally, many underserved communities simply don’t have the ability to offer sports programs for children," the press release continued. It was signed by Dusty's widow Michelle and the Rhodes family.
Jim Thorpe has been reinstated as the sole winner of the 1912 Olympic pentathlon and decathlon in Stockholm, Sweden — nearly 110 years after being stripped of those gold medals for violations of strict amateurism rules of the time. The International Olympic Committee announced the change on Friday on the 110th anniversary of Thorpe winning the decathlon and later being proclaimed by King Gustav V of Sweden as "the greatest athlete in the world." Thorpe, a Native American from Oklahoma, returned to a ticker-tape parade in New York, but months later it was discovered he had been paid to play minor league baseball over two summers, an infringement of the Olympic amateurism rules at the time. He was stripped of his gold medals in what was described as the first major international sports scandal. Thorpe to some remains the greatest all-around athlete ever. He was voted as the Associated Press' Athlete of the Half Century in a poll in 1950. In 1982 — 29 years after Thorpe's death — the IOC gave duplicate gold medals to his family but his Olympic records were not reinstated, nor was his status as the sole gold medalist of the two events. Two years ago, a Bright Path Strong petition advocated declaring Thorpe the outright winner of the pentathlon and decathlon in 1912. The IOC had listed him as a co-champion in the official record book. "We welcome the fact that, thanks to the great engagement of Bright Path Strong, a solution could be found," IOC President Thomas Bach said. "This is a most exceptional and unique situation, which has been addressed by an extraordinary gesture of fair play from the National Olympic Committees concerned." Thorpe's Native American name, Wa-Tho-Huk, means "Bright Path." The organization with the help of IOC member Anita DeFrantz had contacted the Swedish Olympic Committee and the family of Hugo Wieslander, who had been elevated to decathlon gold medalist in 1913. "They confirmed that Wieslander himself had never accepted the Olympic gold medal allocated to him, and had always been of the opinion that Jim Thorpe was the sole legitimate Olympic gold medallist," the IOC said, adding that the Swedish Olympic Committee agreed. "The same declaration was received from the Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports, whose athlete, Ferdinand Bie, was named as the gold medalist when Thorpe was stripped of the pentathlon title," the IOC said. Bie will be listed as the silver medalist in the pentathlon, and Wieslander with silver in the decathlon. World Athletics, the governing body of track and field, has also agreed to amend its records, the IOC said. Thorpe tripled the score of his nearest competitor in the pentathlon and had 688 more points than the second-place finisher in the decathlon. During the closing ceremony, King Gustav V told Thorpe: "Sir, you are the greatest athlete in the world." Thorpe passed away on March 28, 1953. Jourdan Bennett-Behaye and Kolby KickingWoman of Indian Country Today wrote a story about Thorpe being reinstated, which you can read by clicking here.
Oklahoma State University wrestler A. J. Ferrari has been dismissed from the university's wrestling team amidst sexual assault allegations. As of this writing, Ferrari is still listed as a member of the WWE NIL program. The WWE NIL (Name, Image & Likeness) program provides a clear pathway from collegiate athletics to WWE. Ferrari was among the inaugural class that was announced in December 2021.
