WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler will return to "WWE Monday Night RAW" on Monday in Cleveland, OH. He is making his first appearance on RAW in almost two years. Lawler spent some of his childhood near Cleveland, and he’s a big fan of the Cleveland Indians, the Cleveland Browns, and the Cleveland Cavaliers. There’s no word on what Lawler will be doing at RAW, but WWE wrote, “All hail The King! After nearly two years, Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler is set to make a special guest appearance on the red brand. What will the WWE Hall of Famer say during his grand return to Raw? Tune in Monday night at 8/7 C on USA to find out!”

Edge’s open challenge for WrestleMania was finally accepted Monday night on "WWE Monday Night RAW" by former two-time WWE Champion A. J. Styles. Edge kicked off the last segment of RAW and waited for somebody to step up and it was "The Phenomenal One" who answered, saying “I accept!”. Edge told Styles that he wants the bulldog version of A. J. and not the A. J. who has been playing Omos’ tag team bitch for the past year. As Edge offered a handshake, he hit Styles and beat him up. Styles recovered and went for the Phenomenal Forearm but Edge ducked and hit a low blow. Edge, who seemingly turned heel, then hit Styles with the conchairto to end the show with fans booing "The Rated-R Superstar".

On an "Ask JR Live" episode of his podcast, Jim Ross discussed Austin potentially returning to the ring at WWE's "WrestleMania 38". He said “It’s an interesting concept, he’ll sell a lot of tickets if he’s booked, but [WWE is] burning daylight on getting closer and closer to their D-Day. One would assume if Steve is going to do something, that would be finalized sooner than later. I just don’t know if it’s going to happen or not, someone goes online and it hits the timeline and all of a sudden, it’s fact. It proves our society is very naive, it’s not that simple. If he wants to do it, I hope he does and I think it would be great because there’s a whole generation of fans that haven’t seen him in his full presentation inside the ring, and I think that would be entertaining for anybody.”

Jim Ross and Tony Khan didn't initially agree when it came to Orange Cassidy. AEW President Tony Khan was a guest Thursday morning on "Busted Open Radio" with Dave LeGreca and Tommy Dreamer to talk about a variety of subjects. While discussing Orange Cassidy exceeding his expectations in All Elite Wrestling, Khan told the story about him disagreeing with Jim Ross about Cassidy's value early on. "I don’t think I’ve ever told this story before," Tony Khan began. "We were in the production meeting the first year, and JR, not under his breath, said something about how stupid the whole thing was in the first year, Jim called me out in front of the entire room.'' The AEW President then detailed his response to Ross's opinion. ''So I said back to him. I was like, ‘Jim, this is getting over, and it’s doing ratings every time, and we barely scratched the surface of what the guy can do. And he’s actually a really good wrestler, and I think you should give them a chance and talk to him because he actually is a very intelligent wrestling person once you get to know him. (...) Trust me,’ and a lot of people might not like it, but frankly, he has become one of our big stars."
