NEWS
Game Changer Wrestling announced last week that the late Tracy Smothers will be inducted into the Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame on January 22, 2022 in New York, NY.

After getting engaged in the ring at an AEW show this past August, Sammy Guevara and his former fiancée Pam issued a statement announcing that they’re no longer in a relationship. The statement said "I know a lot of you have supported us for a long time and we have appreciated it so much over the past several years. Since you've all given us so much love and support we figured we owed it to y'all to let you know that we are no longer in a relationship. We still love each other and wish nothing but the best for one another. We would appreciate your kindness and respect to our privacy during this time. - Sam and Pam". A day after saying he and his fiancée had split, Guevara wrote on Twitter that the end of his relationship with Pam had nothing to do with anyone else. The tweet came after fellow wrestler Tay Conti received abuse on the social media network as fans thought Conti was the reason why Guevara split with his fiancée. In a previously posted video, Guevara and Conti were joking and told her that one of the comments was that they think the two "were screwing," with Conti reacting by rolling her eyes. "Pam and I broke up back in October and just now felt was the time to make it publicly known. So please stop pointing fingers and looking for someone to blame," Guevara wrote. Conti deactivated her Twitter account two days ago after Guevara posted his original tweet.

While speaking on his podcast "Grilling JR", Jim Ross discussed Jeff Hardy’s potential options. Jim Ross stated that he would love to see Hardy in AEW and that it would be a no-brainer for the company to sign him. He said “I hope someday Hardy is wrestling for AEW. It is a no-brainer. Can you imagine The Young Bucks and The Hardy Boyz? The Hardys and The Lucha Bros? The Hardys and FTR? The Battle of North Carolina. I’m all for this. That’s a year’s worth of matches right there, easy.”

WWE’s YouTube channel has uploaded Jinder Mahal & Alicia Fox vs. R-Truth & Carmella in the Mixed Match Challenge finals from "TLC 2018".

In the 18-49 demographic, NXT drew just 0.11, down 0.03 from last week and ended in #46 in the top 50 cable chart. The night was dominated by NFL on Fox which drew 14.9 million viewers.
