NEWS
As of November 22nd, "WWE Monday Night RAW" in Tulsa on January 17, 2022 had sold just 2,167 tickets. This is considered by some sources to be disappointing, but might pick up as Christmas approaches. WWE spends far more in local advertising the week of the show so it does end up with more late sales.

Beth Phoenix announced Thursday on social media that she will be leaving the NXT broadcast team following this Sunday's "WarGames" event. Phoenix, who says she will remain part of WWE, opted to leave her role to spend more time with her family. "Ahead of WarGames, I wanted to share that this Sunday will be my final night in NXT. While I will remain a part of WWE, I have made the choice to step away from the weekly broadcast booth to spend more time with my family. This was not an easy decision, as I have loved my three plus years and 135 episodes with NXT and am incredibly proud of the brand," Phoenix said. Phoenix thanked her broadcast colleagues Vic Joseph and Wade Barrett, along with Nigel McGuinness, Tom Phillips, Mauro Ranallo, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Michael Cole, and the whole NXT team for the amazing opportunity they gave her. "NXT will always be a part of me and Auntie Betty will always be a part of NXT. Leave the porch light on for me," she concluded.

Matches added to WWE’s YouTube last week include A. J. Styles vs. Samoa Joe from "Starrcade 2018" and MVP vs. The Undertaker from the December 1, 2006 edition of "SmackDown".

The Undertaker was Kevin Hart’s guest on the latest episode of Hart’s "Cold as Balls" digital series. Undertaker named Andre the Giant, Steve Austin, The Rock, and Shawn Michaels as his Mount Rushmore of WWE.

Jim Ross had his first of 22 radiation treatments Monday in Jacksonville, FL. As he noted several days ago, he is targeting AEW's December 29th show for his return. He underwent day two of his radiation treatments on Tuesday. Ross tweeted: “DAY TWO ‘Skin cancer doesn’t stand a chance!’”

EC3 and Adam Scherr (formerly known as Braun Strowman) will be donating all of the proceeds from their appearance at this year’s "Blizzard Brawl" to the victims and families of the victims of the Waukesha Christmas Parade attack.

On his recent podcast, Ric Flair claimed a promoter in Israel wanted him to do a match with Sammy Guevara. This is likely not happening, but Flair said $100,000 and two first class tickets and he’s there.

Jake Hager told Renee Paquette and Anthony Smith about the status of his potential grappling match against Jon Jones for Fury Grappling: “Well I don’t know what’s going on because I’m training, I’m ready. As far as I know, it’s on and then it got quiet on his end. I don’t know if he saw my resume and was like, ‘Ouuu, this is an Oklahoma country boy I don’t wanna wrestle with.’ Maybe he saw that I wrestled for AEW and he got a little scared. You know, everybody wants to work for AEW so maybe he wants to get a job so I’m wondering, Jon, come out of hiding. Prove that you’re still the GOAT and I’ll put in a good word with Tony [Khan] for you. You know, I work with GOATs every single day Jon. I work with the GOAT of pro wrestling Chris Jericho so I’m like a farmer of GOATs and I can also wrestle a little bit. I think he’d wanna see that.”

The home that formerly was owned by The Fabulous Moolah, and is now a veterans care home, burned to the ground last Friday night. Fire officials in Columbia, SC responded to a call Friday night at 9pm and when they arrived, the home was engulfed in flames. They were able to get the fire under control and one person was found dead. About eight people were living in the home.

Ryan the Ripper suffered a fractured arm and torn tendon in his Ladder Match with Adrian Vega at the UWO event in Oklahoma City on November 28th. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery.

Brian Blade announced on Facebook that he has tested positive for COVID-19. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery.
