Eight more WWE Superstars from main roster released

The slaughtering at WWE continued with eight more main roster cuts yesterday, including some surprising names.

Those who got the unfortunate news include John Morrison, all three remaining members of Hit Row which include Ashante Adonis, Isiah “Swerve” Scott, and Top Dolla, Drake Maverick, Shane Thorne, Jaxson Ryker, and Tegan Nox.

Perhaps the most surprising are Hit Row, who got called up from NXT just weeks ago. But the writing was on the wall when B-Fab was released in the last round of cuts, splitting up the group.

The firing of John Morrison also caught some by surprise considering he’s a solid worker, but unfortunately was on the wrong end of some timing when The Miz was chosen to go on Dancing With The Stars, cutting their feud short.

This is the second time that Drake Maverick got fired by WWE. When he got cut during the pandemic, he made a passionate video and was kept around, mainly thanks to fans who rallied behind him.
