Mark Henry's time as a commentator on "AEW Rampage" quickly came to a stop as he is being replaced permanently by Ricky Starks. During an appearance on the Wrestletalk Podcast, Starks confirmed that he is now the fourth man on the commentary team for the Friday night show. When Mark Henry was announced by AEW back in late May, the company said that he will have a dual role and will serve as a coach and as commentator on Rampage. The original commentary team was supposed to be Excalibur, Taz, Chris Jericho, and Henry but last week Henry was absent from the commentary booth although he did appear on the show in a different role.

WWE’s YouTube channel uploaded The World's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin) vs. The Hardy Boyz (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) a Ladder Match from "One Night Stand 2007".

Scout Comics has removed all references to Ric Flair from the New York ComicCon next month. They had announced Flair coming for a new comic book launch.

Rob Van Dam went to Twitter to clarify comments he made regarding Ric Flair during last week’s "Dark Side of the Ring" episode about WWE's Plane Ride From Hell. “I haven’t seen Ric Flair’s d***,” he said. “My comment about fans shouldn’t see him doing the helicopter was a response to DSOTR telling me that’s what they were told. They shouldn’t. I don’t want to see it either. 2) I said 'trying to make her touch him' referring to his body crowding her space and her backing up like bad breath was in her face.I thought maybe they were playing (from seeing a similar scene at the hotel bar) but I wasn’t interested in naked Ric. Still ain’t. I tried to sleep." Later, when asked if he saw Flair grab flight attendant Heidi Doyle's hand and forced her to touch his genitals, Van Dam replied "I can confirm I didn’t see that and I didn’t say that. Creative editing will have people hearing it different ways."

Ron Fuller, Les Thatcher, and Jimmy Golden will be doing a live Q&A podcast on October 13th in Knoxville, TN at Calhoun's On the River. Tickets are $30 and come with two free autographs and door prizes and a buffet dinner is included in the price. Fuller is also putting up on YouTube his USA Wrestling shows from 1988, weekly, in order, every Sunday at 3pm on the Southeastern Rewind Channel. The shows are then reviewed by Fuller and Thatcher later in the week. They will also put up older Southeastern clips every two weeks. The first clip was of a Michael Hayes vs. Terry Gordy Cage Match from 1978.

PWInsider reported that casting is underway for season 2 of NBC's "Young Rock" and they are looking for people to play Jerry Lawler, Tommy Rich, Bam Bam Bigelow, Haystacks Calhoun, Gene Okerlund, Big John Studd, Freddie Blassie, Mr. Fuji, and The Great Kabuki. They are also looking to recast several wrestlers from the first season, including Roddy Piper.

Scott Steiner was inducted into the Memphis Wrestling Hall of Fame on September 18th.

MVP had knee surgery last week so he’ll be out of action for a while. It is the reason he was written off TV. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery.
