Storm Teams With Good Brothers For Victory In TexPro Ardmore Debut

Texoma Pro Wrestling made their Oklahoma debut July 23rd in Ardmore, OK. It was an opportunity for many fans to get out to see wrestling in the Ardmore area for the first time in over two years. Familiar faces from previous years in Ardmore were present along with some new stars and some stars of Texoma Pro that had primarily competed in Texas.
While his duties as a commentator for NWA “Powerrr” keep him busy weekly, Tim Storm still competes at Texoma Pro on a monthly basis. And Storm did not want to disappoint the fans in Ardmore, so he agreed to take a match on this card. His opponent was a new competitor for Texoma Pro; the Beastman. A wild man who dressed in skins and brought a bone to the ring, Beastman was certainly the opposite of everything Storm was. But Storm faced the challenge as he always does. However, after Storm hit a big boot on Beastman and the caveman-like competitor rolled out of the ring, Scott D’Amore & IMPACT World X Division Champion Josh Alexander hit the ring and attacked the former NWA World Champion. Beastman joined the fray and it was 3-on-1 until the IMPACT World Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers came to Storm’s rescue. Doc Gallows took the microphone and said that while D’Amore was their boss in IMPACT, this was Texoma Pro and that if it was OK with Texoma Pro owner Robert Langdon, they would team with Tim Storm and face Beastman, D’Amore & Alexander in a 6-man tag team match in the main event!
That match was approved by Langdon and after a night of amazing action, the crowd still had plenty of energy for these six individuals. And the Canadian team took advantage of things early. As the Good Brothers called Storm into the centre of the ring to participate in a triangular “Too Sweet” hand signal, the opposing team attacked and quickly isolated Storm. Storm would take heat from all 3 men for quite a long time, though he had a brief opportunity to tag out after catching Alexander with a neckbreaker. D’Amore prevented that, but was unable to prevent the tag after Storm hit a kick to the side of D’Amore’s head. Storm tagged Gallows in and Gallows cleaned house on everyone, eventually stranding D’Amore in the middle of the ring with all 3 men. From there, it was academic as Gallows hoisted D’Amore up and he and Karl Anderson connected with the Magic Killer and Gallows pinned the diminutive IMPACT VP.
While the Good Brothers may not be the most popular people when appearing on IMPACT or AEW television, they certainly made fans of the Texoma Pro crowd. And Tim Storm now knows that if things get out of hand, he has a couple of friends he can call on to help him out in any future endeavors in the company.
