WWE sets date for Styles & Omos vs. Viking Raiders tag title match

WWE has set a date for AJ Styles & Omos' Raw Tag Team title defense against The Viking Raiders (Ivar & Erik).

Styles & Omos will put their Raw Tag Team titles on the line against The Viking Raiders on the Monday, July 19 episode of Raw. The episode is the post-Money in the Bank edition of Raw. It's taking place at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas and will be the first Raw in WWE's return to touring.

The Viking Raiders became the number one contenders to Styles & Omos' titles by winning a tag team battle royal on Raw last month.

On tonight's Raw, a distraction by The Viking Raiders led to Styles losing a match against Riddle.

WWE has also announced that The Viking Raiders will face Styles & Omos in singles matches on next week's Raw. It will be Ivar vs. Styles and Erik vs. Omos. The latter will be the first televised singles match Omos has ever had.

Styles & Omos defeated The New Day's Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods at WrestleMania 37 this April to win the Raw Tag Team titles.

WWE will be back on the road starting with the Friday, July 16 episode of SmackDown at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Money in the Bank will be held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas on Sunday, July 18.
