EC3, who spent several days in hospital battling a severe infection, is now out of harm’s way and wrote about the whole ordeal in a blog entitled "Not Dead Yet". He said that several weeks ago, he noticed there was swelling developing in his arms and in other areas of his body but did not seek medical attention and instead played doctor himself with the help of medical websites. He said that he continued with business as usual and when there was a thought of getting it checked, something else came up that he gave priority, letting his own health situation deteriorate. “Finally, after an attempt at some athletic based therapy, my arm became a gigantic, swollen, horrifying, ungodly, painful atrocity and I went to the ER,” EC3 wrote. “Next thing I knew, words like cellulitis, staph, and stenosis were thrown around, I was being pumped full of fluids, antibiotics, and morphine, and was in an ambulance to my staycation destination, Advent Health Downtown Orlando.” He said that it took a toll on him and shut his friends and family out after 10 days. “It was a reminder of both a childhood spent very ill, and a career spent where when things were very promising, began to reach an apex, and accomplishments being achieved I would drastically be shattered with catastrophic injuries. Completely unforeseen. Completely unnecessary,” he added. Things are now looking up for EC3 and he is at home recovering.

The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar), Kyle O’Reilly, Titus O’Neil, and Naomi & Lana appeared on Wednesday morning’s episode of WWE’s "The Bump".

MVP was the guest on Friday’s episode of "After the Bell" with Corey Graves and Vic Joseph.

WWE’s YouTube channel uploaded MVP & The Great Khali vs. Batista & Kane episode of SmackDown.

Episode three of season one of "WWE Most Wanted Treasures" on A&E featuring Jerry "The King" Lawler drew 563,000 viewers, the lowest for the series so far. It was down a whopping 206,000 viewers from episode two. The show did 0.22 in the 18-49 demo and finished #12 for the night on cable.

In an interview with Spencer Love, Nick Aldis discussed the release of his wife Mickie James from WWE. “There’s a pro and a con to this,” he said. “Obviously, the con is yes, she’s no longer with the WWE, and her last run didn’t work out the way she’d hoped and that guaranteed income is no longer part of our revenue streams. But we have plenty of revenue streams. The good news is, okay, now, the pro is that there are now a bunch of other potential revenue streams that were previously unavailable based on that contract. So, hey, it swings around about.”

A rumor has been circulating that AEW is going to be signing Tessa Blanchard and her husband Daga. Blanchard is a former Impact Wrestling World Champion. She is the daughter of AEW manager Tully Blanchard, the stepdaughter of Magnum T. A., and the granddaughter of the late Joe Blanchard.

Ric Flair posted a picture on Twitter of him visiting Steve “Mongo'' McMichael, who revealed last month that he’s battling Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, otherwise known as ALS or Lou Gehrig's Disease. Mick Foley posted video of him receiving his second COVID-19 vaccination and urging everyone to get vaccinated. You can see the video by clicking here.

This week’s episode of “Mailbag Monday with Gerald Brisco” has been released. During it, he was asked to give his thoughts on Jay and Mark Briscoe using the Briscoe name. Of course, Gerald and his brother, Jack, were known by this name, although with a different spelling. “Here’s the story on that. People think I have heat with those guys. I respect the hell out of what they’ve done. I get a little upset because you use somebody’s name, as personal as that, I think especially if the guy is still active in the business, that guy deserves a phone call. I would expect a phone call and say, ‘We’re going to do this. We’re going to be really respectful. We’re spelling it a little bit different.’ But, I never received one of those phone calls. I never received the, ‘Do you mind if we do this?’ At least Vince McMahon, as powerful as he is that could do anything he wanted to, asked me if he could use the name. All of a sudden, there’s this tag team out there bearing my name on it. I didn’t really get upset. My brother was really upset about it because he didn’t know them. I didn’t know them. In the beginning, I wasn’t happy about it either, but I didn’t know them. When they came down for a tryout here in FCW when Steve Keirn had the territory here, they were here for like a month. I got to know the guys and talk to them. I told them how I felt that I was disappointed that I was never notified that they were going to use my name. They understood that and they apologized. They’re good guys. I have nothing negative about the two talents that are using the name. My only regret is, and I heard through them, or I think it was through them, that Johnny Rodz up in New York told them when they started, ‘You have to look like the Brisco Brothers and that’s your name.’ It was thrown on them. When you’re starting out in the business in a place like that, you’re going to take whatever they throw at you to get booked. They thought that was their way of getting booked a little bit more. They are two really good guys. They’re great guys. As far as being a great tag team, I think they’re an outstanding tag team. I love their rough housing. They’re good. Are they the Brisco Brothers? No, but they are the Briscoe brothers in their version and more power to them.”
