Annabelle Ewing found herself at the centre of a viral story when her account was tagged in a post from a legend of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
Mick Foley had meant to congratulate fellow star Paul Wight on his latest success in the sport, but his tweet auto-corrected to Ms Ewing’s account, leaving her slightly bemused, and with hundreds of new followers.
Foley - whose social media account has 1.9m followers - quickly apologised, adding: ““That was my auto correct being far from correct.”
Foley was inducted into WWE’s Hall of Fame in 2013 after a phenomenally successful career.
The mix-up happened because the Twitter accounts for Ms Ewing and the promotion company behind All Elite Wrestling (AEW) - who Foley meant to tag - start in similar fashion.
Ms Ewing was elected to the Cowdenbeath constituency in 2016.
