AJ Styles set for 2021 WWE men's Royal Rumble match

AJ Styles is the latest name to be confirmed for the 2021 Royal Rumble.
Prior to Monday's Legends Night episode of Raw, Styles posted a video where he declared that he's entering this year's men's Royal Rumble match. He's the third wrestler to be announced for the match, joining Daniel Bryan and United States Champion Bobby Lashley.
Styles unsuccessfully challenged for Drew McIntyre's WWE Championship in a tables, ladders, and chairs match at last month's TLC pay-per-view. The Miz cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase and was added to the match while it was going on, but McIntyre defeated Styles and Miz to retain his title. The Money in the Bank briefcase was later given back to The Miz due to John Morrison having cashed it in on his behalf at TLC.
Styles made his WWE debut as an entrant in the 2016 Royal Rumble.
This year's Royal Rumble is taking place on Sunday, January 31. Nia Jax and Charlotte Flair have declared for the women's Royal Rumble match.
