The WWE Network will be releasing new documentaries coming on Pat Patterson and A. J. Styles, among others.

The WWE website announced its 10 best matches of the year. Among them are The Undertaker vs. A. J. Styles Boneyard Match at WrestleMania at #1, A. J. Styles vs. Sami Zayn vs. Jeff Hardy Ladder Match at Clash of Champions and #5, and Daniel Bryan vs. A. J. Styles on SmackDown from June 12th at #6.

WWE announced last week that NXT will be bringing back the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament, starting in two weeks. Adam Cole & Roderick Strong of The Undisputed ERA have already been named as one team. The rest of the participants and bracketing will be revealed on this week’s “New Year’s Evil” show.

WWE announced several new shows that will serve as the countdown for the 2021 Royal Rumble. On Sunday, January 17th, "WWE Untold: A. J. Styles’ Royal Rumble Debut" will air with Styles and other individuals looking back at A. J.'s surprise debut at the 2016 Rumble. "The Best of WWE: Attitude Era Royal Rumble Matches" will air on Tuesday, January 19th, hosted by Matt Camp from "The Bump" as he looks back at the Royal Rumble matches that defined one of WWE’s most beloved eras. On Friday, January 22nd, several wrestlers will be reliving the men and women's 2020 Royal Rumble matches in a new episode of "WWE Playback". A brand new documentary on Pat Patterson, the man who created the Royal Rumble, will air on Sunday, January 24th, and so will a new episode of "WWE Chronicle", this time focusing on Bianca Belair and her Rumble debut at the 2020 event. On Tuesday, January 26th, Matt Camp will host a compilation episode of "The Best of WWE: Royal Rumble Matches of the 2010s" and then on Wednesday, January 27th, a roundtable with Charlotte Flair, Natalya, Nia Jax, and Mickie James will air discussing the inaugural women's Royal Rumble match from 2018. The final show leading up to the Rumble will be a new episode of "The Day Of" focusing on Batista's return at the 2014 Rumble with never-before-seen footage from that night, including his reaction to the WWE fans’ hostile reaction after he won.

Britt Baker shared video of Brodie Lee, Jr. hitting a discus lariat on Adam Cole and pinning him at AEW’s New Year’s Eve party. Ricky Starks also helped Brodie Lee, Jr. wrestle Top Flight at the party.

AEW uploaded clips of Britt Baker, Cody Rhodes, Lance Archer, and Anna Jay sharing their memories of Brodie Lee on this week’s Dynamite post-show.

Mick Foley has joined CM Punk in donating 100 percent of his next month of proceeds from Pro Wrestling Tees to the family of Brodie Lee, who passed away on December 26th.

Mick Foley revealed on Twitter that he has COVID-19 and has been stuck in a hotel room by himself for the past 18 days. Foley got the positive result after he did a virtual signing event, admitting he removed his mask when two other people were next to him. One of those two developed symptoms later in the day and tested positive and then he underwent a coronavirus test himself which also came back positive. Mick said that apart from loss of smell, hearing, fatigue, and body aches, the thing that sucked the most is not being able to celebrate Christmas and New Year with his family. He urged his fans to keep wearing a mask, do social distancing, limit their travel, and take the pandemic seriously. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery.
