Karrion Kross has taken to Twitter, hyping his impending return to NXT. He tweeted "The witching hour approaches. There’s a special kind of evil that never really goes away. It’s the kind that comes around to punish the awful & to remind the noble to stay that way. Think of it as a balancing act. We’re part of The Universe. Keep your eyes on the T I M E ."
"WWE Untold: Goldberg's Streak" has been added to the WWE Network for December.
WWE’s YouTube channel uploaded the the Ricochet, Pete Dunne, & War Raiders (Rowe & Hanson) vs. The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly, & Roderick Strong) War Games Match from "NXT TakeOver: War Games 2018". War Raiders are now known as Viking Raiders on RAW with Rowe now known as Erik and Hanson as Ivar.
Sting, at 61 years of age, has been added to the AEW roster page as a competitor rather than a manager or some other non-competing role. Listed as "The Icon" Sting, he has his singles, tag team, and trios records listed under his profile photo, obviously all of them reading 0-0 for now. This suggests that the 61-year-old will be lacing up his wrestling boots once again for the first time since his "WWE Night of Champions 2015" match against Seth Rollins, which ended with him being seriously injured. That match was Sting's last and the next year at his WWE Hall of Fame induction, Sting said that he's officially retired due to back problems.
Bronson Rechsteiner, son of Rick Steiner, recently had a tryout with WWE. He had a successful college football career as a fullback for Kennesaw State University. He was signed by the Baltimore Ravens of the NFL as an undrafted rookie but they waived him in August. He made his pro wrestling debut in October at AWF/WOW's WrestleJam 8 event in Ringgold, GA. He defeated Jamie Hall by submission using the Steiner Recliner. His uncle, Scott Steiner, was in his corner for the match. Bronson was also spotted working out with Dallas Page and Jake Roberts back in May of this year. He is 6 feet tall and weighs 230 pounds.
Jose Alberto Rodriguez Chucuan, also known as pro wrestler Alberto del Rio or Alberto el Patron and the nephew of Mil Mascaras, was arrested in May of this year and charged with aggravated kidnapping and sexual assault. At the time, the victim claimed Chucuan assaulted her, tied her up, sexually assaulted her, and threatened her young son. In October, a grand jury in San Antonio, TX indicted him on charges of aggravated kidnapping. The accuser has now publicly apologized via an Instagram post writing "An apology to the Rodriguez del Rio family for the damages caused by my mistakes." Hijo de Dos Caras, the brother of Chucuan, responded with this statement: “Well gang, as everyone knows the truth always falls under its own weight. After so many months, finally the garbage person who accused my brother of something totally false spoke the truth by admitting his lie and although she apologized in such a mean way. After everything she caused my brother already my family both personally and professionally, I hope it serves so that those people who destroyed my family open their eyes and so that those people who supported him and did not turn their back on him do justice because in the end he, like many other celebrities, was the victim of an advantageous and greedy person like so many who abuse the reflectors and try to profit at the cost of whatever … The truth will set you free.”

Oklafan extends condolences to the family and friends of Pat Patterson, who passed away December 2, 2020 after battling cancer. He was 79 years old. Patterson was born Pierre Clermont, but legally changed his name to Pat Patterson in 2008. He used several other ring names, including Pat Andrews and Le Reve du Quebec, but is best known as Pat Patterson. Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, he began to wrestle at the age of 14. Initially he expressed an interest in being a priest, but was advised against it because he was “too adventurous”. Patterson debuted in 1958 in his home country, but by 1962, he had made his way to the United States, even though he spoke no English. He initially worked in Big Time Wrestling in Ohio, but soon found his way to the Pacific Northwest territory run by Don Owens. There, at the encouraging of promoter Harry Elliot who knew that Patterson was homosexual, he was rebranded as “Pretty Boy” Pat Patterson, an effeminate character. Patterson would work in the Pacific Northwest until 1963, then was part of a talent exchange that sent him to Texas, Arizona, and ultimately Oklahoma. On March 22, 1964, Patterson debuted in Tulsa, OK, losing to Mike Clancy. Clancy would be his most frequent opponent during his six weeks in this state, though he would also have matches with Frankie Caine and, on May 4, 1964, he would unsuccessfully challenge NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Danny Hodge for the title, losing a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match by DQ. His last match in Oklahoma was the next week, May 11, 1964, where he lost a Texas Rules/Loser-Leaves-Oklahoma Match to Mike Clancy. He then returned to the Pacific Northwest, where his career began to take off. He won the the Tag Team Titles and the Heavyweight Title in that territory and stayed until 1965. At that point, he was hired by Roy Shire and went to the San Francisco territory, where, at the request of Shire, he dyed his hair blonde and was teamed with Ray Stevens to form The Blonde Bombers. Patterson and Stevens, who were regarded as one of the greatest tag teams of the 1970s, eventually ended up feuding, resulting in Patterson’s first babyface run in the U. S. In 1970, Patterson adopted an odd gimmick: he wore a mask during his matches, even though he was still announced as himself and everyone knew who he was. He would load the mask with a foreign object to gain victories. Patterson stayed in San Francisco until 1977, when he went to Florida, winning more titles and serving briefly as the booker for the territory. He then reformed The Blonde Bombers in the AWA and won the AWA World Tag Team Titles in 1978. By 1979, he made it to the WWF and won the WWF North American Title from Ted DiBiase. Three months later, Patterson won a fictitious tournament in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to become the first WWF Intercontinental Champion, allegedly unifying the North American and South American titles together (He actually dropped the North American Title to Seiki Sakaguchi a little over a month after winning the Intercontinental Title). Patterson would turn babyface again while champion due to an attempt by his manager, The Grand Wizard, to sell his contract to Lou Albano. Patterson would then go on to feud with Sgt. Slaughter, culminating in a Bootcamp Match in 1981. Though he would still sporadically compete for the AWA until 1983, Patterson’s in-ring career began to wind down in 1982 and by 1984 he was officially retired from in-ring competition. But he was still involved with the WWF, occasionally coming out of retirement for matches and most notably being the referee for the main events of both the first WrestleMania and WrestleMania XI. But his most notable behind-the-scenes action was creating the Royal Rumble and booking most of the early rumbles as well. By 1997, Patterson had returned to an on-screen role, together with Gerald Brisco, as the “Stooges” for Mr. McMahon. This role lasted on-screen for 3 years, leading him to a comedy feud with Brisco over the WWF Hardcore Title, which Patterson won from Brisco. Patterson would officially retire from the WWE in 2004, though he would return in a limited capacity the next year, essentially working as a creative consultant. Patterson was quite busy after retirement, writing an autobiography, cutting a CD, and appearing on the WWE reality show “Legends House” where he confirmed publicly for the first time that he was gay. His final significant appearance on WWE television took place July 22, 2019, where he beat Drake Maverick for the WWE 24/7 Title. At age 78, he became the oldest person to hold a title in the WWE (an honor previous held by The Fabulous Moolah). He also became only the 2nd person to have held both the Hardcore and 24/7 Titles. Patterson competed in 8 documented Oklahoma matches, but leaves a legacy of creativity, entertainment and bravery that will be hard to surpass.
The heavyweights in the professional wrestling industry paid tribute to WWE Hall of Famer Pat Patterson, who passed away at age 79. Patterson, regarded as one of the greatest brains in this sport, worked pretty much with everyone in this business and leaves a legacy behind him that will never be forgotten. "I can not express how crushed I feel right now with the loss of Pat Patterson," wrote Shane McMahon. "A true member of my family, mentor and dear friend. I love you Pat. God speed." His sister Stephanie added, "I’m deeply grateful to have grown up with @wwe Hall of Famer, the first-ever Intercontinental Champion, the father of the #RoyalRumble and the first openly gay wrestler of his generation. Thank you for teaching me how to not take it all so seriously." Triple H spent a considerable amount of time backstage with Pat and said that no words can describe what he gave to the business. "His body as an in-ring performer, his mind as a storyteller, and his spirit as a beloved member of our large @WWE family. I will miss him for so many reasons... it’s never goodbye, it’s see ya down the road. Love you, Pat," Triple H wrote. The Rock worked with Patterson countless times in laying out some of the biggest matches and was also the one who called Vince to tell him to check him out when he was starting in the business. "Vince flew me to RAW a few weeks later and I had my first match EVER in Corpus Christie, Texas. The rest is history and years later, here I am writing this post," The Rock said. "Love you, Pat. And THANK YOU. I’ll see you down the road." Hulk Hogan said that it was a tough morning hearing the shocking news about Pat. "Pat and Buddy Colt let me ride with them when I had my first match, the ribbing started that day and went on until now, love you my brother," Hogan wrote. John Cena is also someone who worked close with Patterson during his busy WWE run years ago and said Pat lived life as it should be lived, with passion, love and purpose. "He helped so many and always entertained with a story or joke. He will live on in my life always. Love you Patrick." As a family friend for many decades, Roman Reigns said that Patterson was always invested in his success, calling his death a major loss for the WWE family. "Brilliant mind for the business and always ready to make a joke ... at your expense! Rest In Peace, Pat. God bless." HBK Shawn Michaels is also someone who grew up working with Pat and wrote that few could speak the art of our industry into existence. "Pat spoke to me, taught me so much, and helped me see what was really possible to achieve in my career. God bless you, Pat. Rest In Peace," Michaels wrote. Two-time Hall of Famer Ric Flair described Patterson as a great wrestler, a fabulous mind, caring and thoughtful with always a smile on his face. "The last thing I can remember him saying to me is 'She is so damn good Ricky, are you sure she is your daughter?' RIP Pat," Flair wrote. His daughter Charlotte added that Pat was a staple and always came to NXT and loved the women's matches. Fellow female wrestlers such as Bayley and Natalya also chimed in, with Bayley saying he always sat in or near Gorilla and not only watched the shows, but made sure to compliment them on their way back. "But I’ll always remember Pat most for coming to Xmas karaoke in NXT to sing the same song every year! Always the main event. He will be missed." Natalya wrote that Pat knew WWE was his home away from home and a place where he felt completely accepted and truly loved. "Someone like Pat made all the difference because he wasn’t afraid to be himself and he made no apologies for it. Pat did it his way. Rest in power, Pat," Natalya wrote. Mick Foley wrote that he loved Patterson and could listen to his stories for hours, describing him as one of the all-time great wrestlers, one of the best minds in the business, and a dear friend. Eric Bischoff spoke about how coming into WWE in 2002 was a unique situation and Pat was the first to go out of his way to genuinely make him feel at home. "We shared many hours, stories, and yes a cocktail or 2. RIP Pat. You did it your way," Bischoff wrote. Tributes also came from those in All Elite Wrestling who used to work with Patterson during their WWE days. Cody Rhodes said Pat was a good man and in all the conversations he had with him there was an underlying thread, and that was the brotherhood/sisterhood throughout the locker room and how much they were a team. "Loved life and lived it hard. He was incredibly loved and will be missed," Cody wrote, adding a photo of Patterson with his mother. "Saddened to learn of Pat Patterson’s passing this morning. Pat was a true visionary when it came to the psychology behind pro wrestling," Matt Hardy wrote. "He also evolved with an open mind as times & styles changed. I always looked forward to Pat’s karaoke gatherings after Montreal." Jim Ross said that Patterson was a true legend of the pro wrestling business and a wonderful mentor who taught him so much. Taz said he was sorry to hear the sad news of Pat Patterson passing away. "Pat was a really funny guy...non stop smiling & busting chops. No doubt one of the greatest finish men in the history of the business," he added. Miro, the man formerly known as Rusev, kept it short saying that karaoke night with Pat Patterson in Belgium will forever be a highlight of his, probably not saying much because of the shenanigans that went down that night.
WWE paid tribute to Hall of Famer Pat Patterson Wednesday night at the start of NXT with a video set to Patterson’s favorite song, Frank Sinatra’s "My Way". All of the NXT Superstars and backstage personnel started the show at the top of the stage to pay their respects as the video aired, showing several photos and videos throughout his illustrious wrestling career. Fans inside the Capitol Wrestling Center chanted “Thank you Pat” after the video ended as his photos took over the mini-ThunderDome setup. The song "My Way" was a karaoke favorite for the 79-year-old Patterson, who often sang it during parties.
Vince McMahon on Pat Patterson’s passing: “Pat Patterson was more than the first Intercontinental Champion & father of the Royal Rumble Match. He helped lay the foundation for WWE as we know it. His mentorship shaped careers, his creativity sparked innovation and his friendship lifted spirits. Love you, Pat. We miss you.”
Sgt. Slaughter posted a video paying tribute to Pat Patterson which you can see by clicking here.
